Palzor Stadium - Stadium in Gangtok - East District, India

The Paljor Stadium, originally known as Palzor Stadium was initially built to serve as a Polo ground. But after the Independence, it was converted to a football stadium. The stadium is currently home to United Sikkim Football Club and has a seating capacity of 25,000 people! 2001 saw the stadium grow to its best as it embraced modern amenities and included a VIP section, Hostel accommodation and an indoor Basketball hall among many other additions. And it is also said to be the largest stadium in Gangtok. Today the stadium has become an important venue for not only hosting sports but also for conducting public meetings and other important social events. The stadium is best experienced during a home-team match when the whole place echoes the cheers of the fans.

Great place to play football, basketball, badminton, table tennis. It's a Government owned property and playing there is free of charge. However, there are time limits for practise, so do visit as per these timings if you want to practise. The worst part here are the toilets which are filthy with no running water and maintained carelessly.

This is a place which totally unites Sikkim. Palzor stadium is a football stadium located at the heart of the city. Its is also a top tourist attraction in the city. The stadium holds 30,000 people. It has the following facilities: International size turf football field. Electronic scoreboard. Hostel accommodation. Media centre. VIP lounge. Room for Physiotherapy centre. Room for multi-gym and fitness centre. Players' and officials' change room. Inbuilt public address system. Fire protection system. Indoor hall for basketball.

Located in the lap of hills. Small stadium but good seating arrangement. Established in 2005. Very beautiful football stadium. Nice to see the boys play in large numbers even small children can be seen to play football.

This place is located a midst of the hill town. Early morning visit is must for a tourist its only 10- 15 mins walk from MG Marg.This place will revitialize you and make you feel how much we miss in the hustle and bustle of city life. Clouds floating over the stadium and with colourflul jersey's all across the stadium gives such a great feeling within. The stadium is well mainatined and then track pants and T shirts are must for entry. Football is the key sports played. When I saw girls playing in the ground, I just wished if i ever got this opportunty ever before. Best part of the stadium was - its cleanliness. EVerywhere its written - its your property, help us in keeping it clean.

Very nice place for play football. Anyone can go inn until 9:00 am
