Taking flight is always tiring and boring. We do want to find relaxation and good food with soothing ambience after such hectic schedule. Such worries have come to an end now as Palms Kitchen has opened up in Kolkata, very near to Airport, the exact address reads as - Kolkata Airport, NSCBI Airport, 28, Jessore Rd, Dum Dum, Kolkata - 700052. As soon as you enter through the gate, there's a lovely, finely maintained, neatly trimmed, lush green lawn to welcome you. As you enter the restaurant, it's a calm, peaceful, sober, posh decor, finely lit ambience with large glass panes giving you a view of the beautiful lawn outside. They provide a seating of approx 30-40 people. The menu consists of multi-cuisine dishes. Being a big time foodie and loving to explore new eateries, I recently visited this place with my friends and tried out the following items -- Beverages -- Pineapple Blossom White Beauty Electric Blue Starters -- Lotus Stem Sweet Chilly Butter Chilly Garlic Water Chestnut Rosemary Dahi Kebab Prawn Sweet Chilly Garlic Grilled fish in Thai Herbs Cantonese Chilly Chicken Gondhraj Fish Fry Main Course -- Stired Fried Vegetables in Sweet Chilly Lemon Sauce Thai Green Curry (Veg) Shredded Chicken in Chilly Pepper Sauce Cottage Cheese Steak, Wilted Spinach Stuffed, Herb Roasted Potatoes, Cherry Tomato and Scallion Sauce. Rajasthani Laal Maas Kerala Prawn curry Steam Rice Rosemary & Chilly Naan Dessert -- Mocca Rage Kesar Firni Shahi Tukda Honey Glazed Noodles with Ice Cream We all founded the respective dishes to be mouth-watering delicious, very different in taste and appreciated the cooking style. The items are priced at very reasonable rates considering both the quality and quantity of food. The staffs were really polite with prompt service. This new and authentic place in Airport area is a must try out if you are looking for a place within the city yet aloof from the hustle-bustle of the city life, a quaint, calm place with fine dining offering Iip-smacking dishes to enjoy with your beloved ones.

Great food.. ambience & good service. My wife and I appreciated the server for suggesting food on the menu. That was helpful. Another gentleman (manager?) came around to ask if the food was okay? Appreciated that gesture.The environment was very much peaceful at the same time exciting. Music was good going on and staff service was top notch.

Recently I visited Kolkata and was staying in Holiday Inn Express Hotel near Airport. But the best part was the Dinner buffet spread in their restaurant Palms Kitchen and Bar. The spread was superb and the taste was very good. Their service was excellent. All the staff was attentive and was attending to check whether I need anything though I was having buffet. Keep the quality since whenever I visit Kolkata I will certainly visit your restaurant and have food.

Few days ago I have visited a new restaurant with luxurious ambiance, located near airport area. They served very tasty foods. I tried some unique recepies like Lotus stem sweet chilly, Butter chilly garlic water chestnut etc. Each and every items tastes really amazing and unique.
