This restaurant exudes a delightful retro ambiance in the heart of Bangalore. Its inviting, relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat, although it tends to get quite bustling on weekends. While the initial visits left me satisfied, I've noticed a gradual decline in the food's quality with subsequent visits. Thankfully, the consistent level of service remains praiseworthy. The convenience of ample car parking is a definite plus, and the rates continue to offer excellent value for money.

Very poor staff, head weighted Black suit servers won't even take order if you are not paying them tips, even if you are regular. You will have to call them multiple times, and they will say not my table. Will stand next to you for few seconds with bill to intimate to pay for tips, this is over service charge. Food is good , but the black suit servers needs big change. I am writing this after multiple experiences, the experience given by quality food is overtaken by the staff experience, and i and forced to wright this here. Management need to change the attitude of the staff. Even India coffee house staffs are better , they atleast come and take order in few seconds.

it is one of the oldest, well known upscale restaurants of Bangalore. The place can be crowded during lunch time and the wait can be long, but it's worth the wait. we tried their south indian meal, bisi bele baath, bonda soup, bisi bele bath, everything tasted amazing. Service is very quick and good, even though it was crowded. well maintained and had the satisfaction of having good food.

Air conditioned restaurant, pure vegetarian. Good South Indian dishes served here. There's ample parking space. Affordable prices. There are not many beverage options. Good to order South Indian meals. Overall a decent food and service.

A hidden gem in Bangalore. Truly voluptuous meals, simple food homely meals and quick service. The good old vibe and ambience adds on... Worth a visit...

The BEST restaurant in Bangalore. Royal ambience. Very calm place. Very good taste. Best vada I have tasted in my life. Rates little high, but justified. Very good staff. South Indian items were over by 11.30 a.m. Very neatly and hygienically maintained. No self-service wing. No hassles. Ample parking space. Garden in front. We had a wonderful time. Great experience. North Indian items are available in the evening. Only South Indian items in the morning. Very neat handwash and wash rooms

Food was average. Ambience is average too. The quality of food used to be much better here, I have been visiting from almost 10 years.

Well known, historical hotel and restaurant in CBD area. Ballal Residency is 50+ year old hotel chain. The Palmgrove restaurant is part of that hotel building complex. This restaurant has old BLR charm. Very good South Indian food. Their service staff is not people friendly. They take down any food orders on pieces of paper - no gadgets here. They don't like if one changes the order as they have to scratch the item on paper. Best to be fully prepared before calling the person taking customer food orders. The interiors remind one of vintage Bengaluru. Reasonable amount of parking is available for guests. Price is very reasonable. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. Overall a good place for south indian food in central Bengaluru.
