Palm Tree Hotel - Hotel in Vellore - Vellore, India

Very bad experience of this hotel. I booked an A.C. room. The room which shown to me, before booking was nice , but when I made payment they gave me this room no.307 , when I objected, they told no that room is executive room and... Some how I checked in this room. In the night, when I come to my room, I found A.C. 's condensate water line is dripping water in bathroom. It was really an ugly situation when you are using toilet. Even the flushing cistern is not working. I pour water by bucket. When I complain about this in morning, they don't feel any sorry for that. I told the manager, that you must refund some amount, due to this inadequate room , he didn't acknowledge. Not recommended for stay.

No that Good choice, For those who are going for Check Up at CMC. as it is 2km away from the CMC campus & There is very minimal facilities available at the hotel , Only Recommended offline booking as They Charge 2 times as the original price If booked online.

Main location and walkable distance to bus stand. They have a very limited car parking so we need to check before arrival. Can call the updated mob no on google. Early morning and late night arrival or departure by our own vehicle is good. Other timings can't drive easily inside the street.

My best go to hotel in vellore.. For last seven whenever I come to vellore I usually stay here.. Complete budget hotel..

The hotel is very close to an important signal just behind the Arya Bhavan Hotel very close to the fort. So the location can be rated 4 star. But the hotel itself cannot be given anything more than 3 if you are looking for the below reasons. BTW the hotel is not a 4 star or 2 star hotel. Not that I know of. Only 4 stars for the location as the hotel is not located on the main road over looking the fort but is in a small narrow lane off the main road. 100m down the narrow lane you will find the hotel. If you bring your car in the during business hours, you might find it challenging to drive down the lane as many bike and 2wheeleers would be parked on either side of the street not giving a lot of space for cars to move. It's risky to drive but you can manage with a small car and good driving skills. Hotel room are executive and deluxe. The deluxe rooms are newly renovated and looks decent. The executive ones are nor give clean sheets or mattress. It's more of a lodge than a hotel for family. The guests are mostly men who wants to drink with friends or visiting Vellore. Rarely you see individual families. The bedsheets are washed once a month and bitten by rats and torn. Rooms have no ventilation. No hot water. The solar heater is a joke.

Hotel is too far from railway station around 9 KM. Hotel looks good. No hot water available in room. Staff is co-operative. You can call and negotiate the room price as well. Nice hotel to stay with family.

I stayed 3 days non-AC room just 600rs per day, ac room may be 1000 I think, but no check-in or checkout time limit, flexible time, and hotel management staff behaviour in a very humble and respectful way, which shocked me. He never ask any advance and daily I ask sir money money, he said sir no issue you pay on checkout time. I planned for one day but my stay was extended to 3 days he never ask any money, and checkout time I paided just 1800 Location is also great, walkable distance from Balaji temple Vellore, therefore many vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants are available, please all consider first this hotel.

A big thank you to the entire team.staff are very polite, hotel is very neat and clean, cleaning happens every day. we had a amazing experience and the stay was very good. we came her for cmc hospital, very easy to commute only 1.8 km, you get frequent buses @rs7/-.
