Palm Grove Suites Inn & Spa - Hotel in Majitar - East District, India

Booking was done by our host for a checkout on 2nd October, but we were told that booking was till 1st October only. This communication was done rudely. Then two Room was changed for two of us, and luggage was shifted but personal stuff from bathroom wasn't found. When the same was informed at reception, they never called back. Although twice i called the reception but no positive response yet even after about one hour. Failed to understand the lack of communication from front desk.

I went swimming therefore I won't say anything about the room. But I spent 3 hours with my daughter I am happy that she enjoyed it so much. There should be railing in the children's pool and no shades to protect from please include that. But I went again to swim as I am a swimming enthusiast A very strange receptionist informed me it's on maintenance on weekdays ? But I loved chicken grilled sandwich as my daughter liked too. Thank you

Hotel located at main road of Majitar towards Gangtok. It's 30 kms before you reach Gangtok. Good place for family as well as business stay. Best services offered. The staff are well behaved and cordial.

Very near to SMIT, stay was comfortable, room was spacious and very clean. All linens were well washed and neat. Servicing Staff were pleasant and responsive . Food was also good. Safe and serene

The place name is Majitar. Good location for people to stop by if they are traveling from Siliguri to Gangtok. It is just 10 mins drive from Rangpo checkpost. The rooms are clean and well kept. The view is good. Staffs are friendly and welcoming, good parking space for over 20 vehicles. Swimming pool is good with clean water. I found the service a bit slow and the food is ok.

Very poor service. Staff in restaurant are polite but lack in skill. Had to wait for almost 1.5 hr for normal veg. lunch consisting of chapati & 2 dishes ordered for 4 persons.

The food was just awesome. The ambiance was great. Good place to organize corporate events and gatherings.

The worst experience of my life ...i am seriously feeling humiliated after this experience. Can't forget the poor behaviour of the staff members. Please don't stay at this hotel. ....i am a regular traveler and i stay almost 20 days in different locations all over the India....and i can definitely say that this is THE WORST hotel i have ever seen in my career of last 8 years. 1) Staff behaviour - Very very bad 2) Food quality - not good 3) Room amenities -No hot water, no regular service of drinking water (not even paid service after 9:30), AC not working, TV not working, Peel off paint, No Laundry service, wifi very poor connection. 4) IF YOU ASK FOR SOMTHING TWICE, THEY CAN TAUNT ON YOUR NEGOTIATED PRICE ALSO. 5) I recommend everyone to book any home stay instead of this Hotel even if you are not getting other hotel.
