Beautiful view. Can see lot of other hills and waterfalls from this point. Also there is a waterfall 1km away but needs to climb.
Approach road is steep and condition is pathetic with many potholes.
One small restaurant is available. Mainly snacks and not many varieties.
One traffic AI camera is installed right at the location, not sure why.
Palachuram Waterfalls is a hidden gem nestled amidst the serene beauty of lush greenery and majestic mountains. This enchanting natural wonder is a treat for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. The allure of the waterfall lies not only in its cascading waters but also in the journey to reach it. The trek of 1 kilometer from the road to the falls is an invigorating experience, offering a chance to immerse oneself in the untouched wilderness.
As you traverse the well-trodden path, the verdant surroundings and the distant calls of nature create a sense of anticipation. The sight that greets you at the end of the trek is truly awe-inspiring. The falls, framed by the backdrop of imposing mountains, paints a picture of serenity that feels almost surreal. A small bridge strategically placed near the falls provides a perfect vantage point to take in the breathtaking views and capture memories through the lens.
Palachuram Waterfalls is not just a destination; it's an escapade into nature's embrace. The journey, the landscape, and the falls themselves combine to create an experience that leaves an indelible mark on the soul. For those seeking solace in the arms of nature's beauty, this destination promises an unforgettable adventure that reconnects with the essence of the natural world.
Palchuram offers mesmerizing panoramic vistas of mist-covered mountains, valleys, and tea estates. Best visited from October to February, this serene spot is perfect for witnessing stunning sunrises and sunsets. Trekking opportunities and a tranquil ambiance make it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
Beautiful and exceptional nature views along the way, can be a bit struggle with younger kids as you need to trek a bit to reach the falls point.
The worst road in a ghat section.
Don't know why authorities are maintaining it properly.
Always we can see the broken roads
But this road is scenic.

Always we have to be careful while driving through this route.

This is a amazing view point near Kannur - Wayanad boarder. The view is amazing and worth seeing. I visited here in the month of Sep when there was frequent light cold breeze, which is just great. One of the best place for clicking photos.
Thank you . . . .
