The sunset is awesome here. Due to heavy rains recently, the lake has been overflowing and thus it has a created a waterfall kind of a thing. Nice to come with family. There is a huge issue for parking here and there are two enterances to this place. Do come from the city side. Its worth the 1.5 km walk along the lake side.
Not soo good, if you want to go with friends you can go and enjoy but for family it's not soo good, with friends you can enjoy there and very bad smell is there.
Good location to experience off road mode of the car and also play in the backwater if water level is low. Also travel in groups as its little isolated from main road!
This place must be awesome when the water tips over ... have to visit this place again then! Place is very clean and mesmerising views from this location. Weather was good - so we lazed around and did nothing. Great place to relax and take pictures! Enjoy your trip here and keep it clean
Nice place for a couple of hours of outing specially if u want a long drive from Bangalore. Place is not crowded but not much to see either. And if it has not rained enough no point going there.
Small dam.... , You can see near places like kodihalli backwater and ramasagara , around 10 km
One of the better place to see sun rise, morning & evening walks. Take a dog for jog, walk or even to train, the place offers a better scenarios for dogs to explore the terrain. Nice place to stand on the river dam and watch over a line of trees touching the horizon. Morning sky reflection through the water will be spectacular, a beautiful place for swim (not to pollute water with soap solutions). A greenery place for whole day visit near the water pump house/ water purification plant. Overall a nice place for a day trip without any risky adventures.
There is water during monsoon. As we visited on a weekday , we were the only ones there. Good place to spend an hour . Nothing nearby to eat or drink. If you are planning for a picnic take your own food and drink .
