Palanpur Palace Hotel - Hotel in Mount Abu - Sirohi, India

The first impression of the hotel is not good, generally not maintained with peeling paint everywhere and looks ramshackle.The rooms were so bad we left this hotel and checked in another hotel without a refund. The corridors and rooms we were shown smelled really badly of mould. The settee in reception was filthy. The pillows on the bed were heavily soiled and dirty ). The mattress was an ancient thing with metal springs that was as hard as a rock. The shower curtain was very dirty . The curtains were closed because the view was of a rubbish dump which made the room feel more dirty. The furniture in the room was also grubby. This hotel needs a deep clean , curtains washing and furniture cleaning to get rid of the smell and some incense in the lobby, or even better a complete refurb.

Had Lovely Experience. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Food was good but more for Gujrati taste buds.

Its not hotel. its's litrallly ruins. it need a lot renovation to bring it to catagory of Hotel. very surprisingly, they are using window AC and that also in broken condition. floor tiles and walls have cracks. unbearable smell coming from the room. it feels that since long nobody has entered in. curtains have stains. Fan was noising terribly. Hotel is in totally remote area from centre of the city. we didnt find any traveller or car in the premises. when we complained about room condition, they have shown us around 5 rooms and all were in nonoperatable condition. only one person on reception and two helpers we have seen. it was completely predictable that what could be the condition of restorent and food quality. we left the place and took rooms in other hotel in city area in good comparative rates. Booking authority haven' t done any refund upto now and we are predicting that this is only the business left for them to coolect money from unknown outsiders.

Comfortable stay .. Food was tasty also Service was good . Housekeeping Staff was very Cooperative..Mr Irshad Kashmiri really He was only one person who Guided us Properly and Make our stay Comfortable...

Spacious rooms with great service & good breakfast. Only minus point is their furniture is very old and no swimming pool. Staff is very polite and responsive.

there are some very good things like impeccable service provided by each and every staff and full attention to our every need to make our stay comfortable. but the property is outdated. though they have changed bathroom fittings but the towels were worn out and needs immediate replacement. the furniture paint / polish is peeling off. The ceiling shows peeling joints. The matress and sofa were sagging. bed covers were not white enough to feel cozy and hygienic. upon my asking, the receptionist guy Mr. Bharat told me that they did not get permission to renovate the property. but now they recently got permission to upgrade the property, it's going to be totally renovated with swimming pool and all. i hope they do it ASAP before more people suffer like me. the food was good though. Surprisingly this hotel don't have a wheelchair which i required for my wife. The property has not accessiblily of wheelchair and no elevator to go to upper level for dining. But they given me ground floor room and free room service because my wife couldn't climb the stairs.

As students from out of state this hotel is over priced and disgusting...it's not worth the money and the room honestly makes me want to puke...there are spider and mold infestation and the smell is genuinely concerning
