Palair Reservoir - Tourist attraction in Paleru - Khammam, India

Very wide and looking so beautiful . At some places rectangular shape floatings are there . One bank of the lake is constructed as a road with stop overs to see the beauty of lake. At the end boating facilities are there

Its a nice place for bird photography. Telangana tourism can develop this place into a tourist spot for people to come and enjoy the water body.Saw flocks of egrets prying on fish near the water body.

Very well maintained lake...fresh fishes available right near the entrance.. tourism boating available...

Palleru lake is man-made reservoir, it is one stop before entering to Khammam city. Beautiful scenery of the lake. It is also a good place for picnic. Fresh water of the lake is visible with naked eye but it is still needed by the locals to take extreme measures to keep it clean and hygienic. Some corners of the lake is not clean and this habit will make the lake like unclean ganga. I took the snap of the lake in the corners of Suryapeta-Badrachalam road touching the corners of the lake. Beautiful scenery of the area captured in the image.

It just a resorvior and with walkaway around the reservoir. Good at morning only.

It's a Beautiful place. So peaceful and calm.

It is useful about lakhs of acres for farming and it contains mostly 3-5 TMC of water in these reservoir and it also has high inflow and outflow.......
