Palace Hotel (Bikaner House) - Hotel in Mount Abu - Sirohi, India

Totally unacceptable!! We stayed at this property during a family trip in may. We had a very horrible experience with the maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms. The quality was not at all even near to the tarriff they charge. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The curtains were flimsy letting the sunlight pass through. The room was very very ill maintained. The cushions were torn. The complimentary breakfast spread was very very ordinary. Overall it was a very bad experience. I would never ever recommend this property to anyone. Good location doesn't matter if one cant have a pleasant and comfortable stay during a pleasure trip. That too after paying a hefty tarriff.

Very bad experience with Palace Hotel (Bikaner House). This place is full of greedy people, especially Mr. Revat Singh. I stayed with them in October 2022. Even at that time, I had an argument with them regarding rooms. They tried to make me stay at one of their worst rooms. This room is on the top of the building with no view or ventilation. You would feel claustrophobic. They gave me such a room despite them having multiple options available on the ground floor with immediate garden access. When I argued with them, they allotted me Room no. 27 which is probably one of the best rooms they have. I was able to achieve this only after an argument. Post that stay, I have tried to book a room with them and 10 out of 10 times they have offered me the same top floor claustrophobic room. Whenever I ask the ground floor room, they give the same excuse, it is already booked. Revat Singh is the worst person. He is super greedy. Never responds on time. I am never staying with them again. They are bunch of greedy people with bad intentions. Avoid staying here.

The service was good 3/10 I really like the luxe decor of specific rooms but! The water which was coming in the room was smelly and yellow it smelled like rust it ruined my trip and the bathtub was broken I was staying in room 12 1st floor The reception service was fine, the meals were not value for money, breakfast buffet was not appetizing for me. all over I really liked the view the staff was great i enjoyed the stay but I want this place to improve (please take care of water hygiene)

3 Stars for this Heritage Property owned by the Erstwhile Bikaner Royal Family ! Beautiful Location ! Huge Rooms and baths ! Lush Green Campus ! Helpful and Courteous Staff ! A must visit when in Mount Abu ! Tall Pine Trees add to the charm ! Rooms and Bathrooms need some maintenance... Room No 23 atleast Cobwebs on the ceiling and broken bath tub ! No Buffet Breakfast or Dinner ! No Swimming Pool !

Beautiful property. Warm staff. Food was good. WiFi was awful. We saw a family of bears.

I hated the restaurant since I specifically told the waiter No Badam Kaju Pista (Almond,Cashew, Pistachio) and when I took a bite of the kebab I got such a bad allergic reaction and the chef said that he only told him Kaju (Cashew) And he never said anything about Badam (Almond) Or any other dry fruit So the waiter service was very bad and they did not even accept there mistakes screw this restaurant and eat anywhere else

I went there for the evening snacks. I liked the premise and its surroundings, The services were good and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Though the food they served, I didn't find anything extraordinary in it, quite normal servings and taste wise also not so amazing.

I am writing this review in reference to our experience with fine dining at the hotel .. such a beautiful hotel but its service staff at the restaurant area is pathetic ... we were in the restaurant and the waiter bought us the menu barcode , we asked if there is a physical menu because there is absolutely no mobile network in the entire hotel property (not even 5% connectivity) .. the waiter was not even polite when i asked how can we scan this barcode if there is no network and he asked us to sit in the hotel waiting area to order the food ...he asked us to wait atleast 45 minutes for the food as we had no options we waited .. they didnt even bought the starters after 1 hour of waiting at the waiting area .. finally our dinner arrived after waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes ... the food was very average.. rotis and bread was not even hot ... at the dinning area we noticed that all the staff people were busy with just 1 table serving them talking with them may be they were their favourite guests ... they served us as we were eating at their place for free .. they were treating us as some 2nd class guest and serving just 1 table ... they dont know how to treat a guest .. pathetic experience
