Beautiful place to spend time watching migratory birds. There are boats to roam around and spot colourful birds. I visited end of November and the birds are still coming. Amazing experience.

Pakhibitan Wildlife Sanctuary, in the foreshore of Teesta Barrage in Gajaldoba waterbody. It was established in the year 2011. It covers an area of about 14.09 sq km. It is committed to the conservation of the habitat of aquatic birds. Different exotic species of Migratory birds come in winter every year.
A newly formed Bird sanctuary located at Gajoldoba Teesta Barrage, Under Mantadari Gram Panchayat of Jalpaiguri District. This is home to Various Indian as well as migratory birds. The migratory birds such as Bar Headed Goose, Great Crested Grebe, Lesser Whistling Duck & many more. This place is photographers' delight especially in winter season when birds from as far as Siberia, Europe, come here to escape bone chilling cold temperature of central & North Asia.
