@meatandeatbgm #fishthali. I remember being amused watching Goans relish their fish thali in belgaum. So when I was asked to join my folks for lunch at meat and eat, I did smile to myself. After tasting more than a hundred thalis from all over goa I thought to myself " chalo yeh bhi try kar lete hai" We were in for a very tasty surprise ! The fish was fresher than what I have had at most of the joints here in goa, served with all the accompaniments by a super efficient Renuka. My folks did go back 3 days in a row for the thali. We ordered butter garlic prawns, bombil fry, king fish thali, bhangda thali and prawn thali. All the dishes extremely good served piping hot. The owner Vidya Pai recognised me from my Belgaum nnazaquat days ( me thrilled ), yes we designed all her college outfits for her :-) A must visit place for the seafood lovers. .
One of the best places in town for sea food, we tried all the fishes & crabs too. The dishes were all with different marination making taste simply sumptuous. Must visit place when in Belgaum. Very hygiene,Best in hospitality n the staff is very humble.

The restaurant has the best prawns ghee roast I've ever tasted. All the food is very homely and comforting. The surmai fry and the surmai thali were delicious and of generous quantity. We tried the caramel custard for dessert, it was a really good custard. This restaurant has a humble appeal. The staff members are nice and helpful. This restaurant is great for families and a group of friends.
One of the WORST experiences i've ever had eating a fish thali, everything in the thali was not edible except the onion and lemon, everything just tasted raw. The spices were not cooked properly and the chicken pieces in a dish were also raw. Still have huge regret visiting this place, wasn't worth a single penny!! Don't visit if you want to save your money.
