I ordered masala dosa and it was great. Very tasty. The ambience is not very good. But the service is ok. I also ate a shawarma and it too was delicious. Masala dosa +chai =72Rs.
Pai's Kitchen is relatively small restaurant in Palatam, Thiruvananthapuram that specializes in serving more than 150 different varieties of dosas (Rice and lentil crepes)- both vegetarian and no vegetarian. They come in different spice levels. Three of us tried different dosas: Umman Dosa, Salt and Pepper Dosa and Pai's Special Dosa. Each one was served hot and tasted great. The restaurant is very busy most of the time- very popular for breakfast and lunch crowds. If you are in the neighborhood, recommend that you give it a try.
Average food compared to other Seafood outlets like Ustaad hotel, but there is too much hype
A small restaurant with a wide variety of dosa. I think there is almost 30,35 varieties of dosa is available. And also it is a budget friendly restaurant when compared with other pure veg restaurants in the city. A good parking space is available in front of the restaurant, and no other restaurants near palayam having like this.
The ambience is good. Service is also good. Food was average. We ordered masala dosha and poori masala. Masala dosha was okay. Coconut chutney tasted funny. Sambar and tomato chutney was good. Poori masala was tasty. Pooris were served hot but it was too thin. Price is reasonable.
Don't know how this restaurant have these much of positive reviews and ratings. Had chicken noodles from here . The food was too much salty such that one couldn't even finish half of the noodles. Also the restaurant staffs had somewhat odd behaviour. Some stares at you for no reason. Parking was bit tight since no parking was available for restaurant and we have to park in the side of road which is usually crowded
Good experience. Nice people with proper recommendations. We tried Salt and pepper dosa and wheat parotta with gobi manchurian. Both were good.
Good food. Not good for busy people's. 4 set of seating only available. Tried sambabam, salt and pepper masala dosa, special omlet and lime juice . Salt and pepper very good with a very good fillling. Sambabam dosa ok. Masala dosa good with atasty lot of masala. Special omlet 2 get with lot of vegetables in it. Lime juice normal. Food served slowly but very hot. Washing provided outside the building and found chocky.

Lovely place and people. Learn the art of eating Maldivian food from the one and only Meenamma herself. The meals, the fish. Everything was just delicious.
Excellent food for affordable prize. I think the cheapest price in this place. food. No compromise in quantity and quality. Some times we have to wait for it. That's only one problem here.
