Great place to spend some quite time with family and friends. Public facilities are yet to be developed around the area, so carrying a packed snack and refreshment are required to be carried. Other wise the views of the island and the sunset is mesmerizing.

One of the Blue Flag Holding Beach in Karnataka Went for Sunset it was superb.. Compared to other beaches near Mangalore, this beach is not that much crowded.

You can drive all the way to this extent. We did not find this beach very exciting and clean, all kinds of trash was there. And nothing much here. The Maple beach was on the other side of the water-break that was far better place to visit.

A evening walk in this beach is a form of therapy to the villagers here. The sunset is a must watch. Best place to spend some time alone

An awesome beach. One can drive on the beach for most parts. Believe it never gets very crowded. The water is a little muddied on account of the beach being very close to the mouth of the delta. Very wide beach too. It is a little shabby in places. Watch out for bubbler crabs and star fishes on the beach and a super collection of shells.

Seashells all over the beach and the silence will help you know yourself. No pollution no crowd silence nd the natures beauty will help u attain the inner peace. Don't think just go and enjoy the beauty and take beautiful pictures. This is one of the very beautiful beaches I have visited in Karnataka. The beach is not crowded and a walk along the beachside is very relaxing. There are couple of islands few nautical miles out the sea which provides scenic view and also blocks high waves. We were very lucky to spot dolphins very close to the coast. Malpe is a natural port about six kilometers to the west of Udupi, Karnataka, India. An important port and a major fishing harbor on the Karnataka coast. It is a suburb in Udupi city . The town of Malpe is associated largely with settlements of the Mogaveera fisherman community. Malpe is a hub of Mogaveera population. Tulu, Kannada, Urdu and Konkani are spoken here. What was attracting me to this beach was the journey in hand rowing smallboats and because this place is not connected by road, it was clean. Now, a road bridge is constructed and gradually this place will also be filled with tourists. The beach here is very very clean. It is cool, because of coconut trees. This is an unexplored beach. Surroundings are very natural. Nice place to enjoy the greenery.
