'Padpath Garden' is located on the western side of famous 'Rankala Lake' of Kolhapur city. 'Padpath' means walkway. The Padpath garden is nicely maintained, there is a nice playing area for children. The garden is developed with lush green lawn, beautiful colorful plants and beautiful bricks walkways. On one side of the garden, there is a walkway having big trees on both sides is from garden to the 'Khaneshwar Temple' situated at 'Irani Khan'; the experience of walking on this walkway is very enthusiastic. On the other side of the garden, there is a beautiful 'Shalini palace' and a boating facility for those who love boating. This garden is very popular for morning & evening walk. It is the best place to visit with your friends or family in the evening, you can easily spend & enjoy 1-2 hours here with your family. Your Children will definitely enjoy here, so do visit when you are in Kolhapur.
It's good place to hang out with family. It's actually Rankala Lake and the board near garden says it's Marine Drive of Kolhapur. You can enjoy boating in Lake. There are lots of options for kids to play here. Kids will enjoy it.
I have lived near this garden since it was installed in 1980.Tgere has been no maintenance since then and corporation should be ashamed of the state of affairs. Needs urgent makeover.

This Garden is very well maintained, This garden adds to the beauty of Rankala Lake, All Street food facilities are available here also the new statues of wildlife animals are available, children can enjoy here by playing see-saw, slide and much more.
