A small, family-run restaurant that has been serving up some of the best vada with chutney in Cherthala for over 20 years. The vadas are made with fresh urad dal and are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chutneys are also made fresh daily and are the perfect accompaniment to the vadas. In addition to vadas, Padma Cafe also serves a variety of other South Indian dishes, such as masala dosa, idli, and sambar. The food is all cooked to perfection and the service is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal in Cherthala, I highly recommend Padma Cafe. The vadas with chutney are a must-try!

For the service, wrong items were parcelled by the take-away service. Instead of coffee we were given a flask filled with jeeraka vellam and paid 40 rupees. This is the reason why they are not providing the right contact number. Waste of money and a loss of time. Very unsatisfied with the staff and service here.

NSS has started this venture with great Vision, women empowerment- Majority staff are ladies, selected from economically weaker sections. The family is greatly benefited . Food is excellent like home made , taste is superb with no preservatives, neat , all made to order fresh. ThQ NSS for the initiative with great vision.

The meals are not bad. But the atmosphere(non AC) is not good at all the fans are covered with dust and flies everywhere. Improve it

A great place to have vegetarian food when in Alappuzha. Loved the masala dosa, Vada and Payam Pori. The price was also pocket friendly. The service was awesome and too friendly. The seating capacity was around 12. Loved the cafe and would definitely visit the place again when I am back in Cherthala.

Good Food but cleaning and service is bad , Price also high compared with quantity .

Masala dosa was fine. Vada is yummy and crispy. The rate of the food is comparatively high compared to others. Service is not satisfied.
