Padajhar Waterfall - Tourist attraction in Chenpua - default, India

Padajhar Mahadev is a waterfall and a hidden gem located in the city of Rawatbhata in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. It is a beautiful picnic spot where you can spend some valuable time with you friends and family. It is around 10 Km from the main city of Rawatbhata. The spot is around 60 Km away from Kota and 120 Km from Chittorgarh. Buses ply from Kota & Chittorgarh to Rawatbhata at regular intervals. Rawatbhata is a peacefull city nestled in the Aravali Hills. Apart from Padajhar Mahadev waterfall, the city itself is a very beautiful place with full of greenery and fragrance of flowers all around. Paddy and millet fields on both sides of the road makese it more eye pleasing. The Road from Kota to Rawatbhata is full of small water passages that finally add up in Chambal River, chirpings of birds, few monkeys, full of greenery and jaw-dropping views.

Best time to visit , end of June ,during rains this place is heavenly!!

Awesome place , the surface under the waterfall is very deep , avoid going under fall in monsoon..

Exotic place to see in rawatbhata. Must see. Beware that you can't actually swim in the water as there are snakes and crocodiles in the water. And police wala can throw you out. But besides that you can see the place is beautiful inside out. The water is clear. Although the road to the place isn't very smooth but it's worth travelling for.

Very beautiful water fall,nd old mahadev temple,but danger area near waterfall,so be careful, no any facilities available this area....

The waterfall was good but we were not allowed to enter or get close to it. Though you can visit a Shiv temple near it, there is a small cave in the temple that has small murti at the end and also has bats on the roof. And do visit the upper part of the waterfall to see its source.

It's a very nice and beautiful place to visit especially in rainy season. A waterfall is there. You can enjoy a lot of there. Also there is a temple of Lord Shiva inside a cave in the valley. Water continuously coming inside the mountains naturally on the head of Shivling. It's very amazing.
