- We booked the Tree top houses through forest ranger. - He was kind enough to address all queries. - - Visited the place along with friends. - Very nice place to spend with family and friends. - Rooms were good. Well maintained. Sufficient for a family of 4 members. - Food joint outside the eco tourism office compound can provide decent food. - Mangalam falls is a good place to visit, about 15 kms from this tourism office.

Pachchaimalai eco tourism center developed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department is a welcome initiative. The treetop like cottages, dormetry, bungalow stay and a Canteen facility is good. The canteen staff serves hot and tasty food in time. The charges for the accommodation is bit costly for the area. The climate, senery and the falls are beyond compare. The trek guide charge is rocket high for the group.

Calm place. Government guest houses are available. It's not so chill area.

An awesome place to stay in pachamalai.Variety of accommodations are available. One small restaurant (eatery) is there which provides simple but tasty food.

Few more fans in the dormitory would be better. They'll help in arranging cook if asked in advance and the food was good.

Wonderful nature spots, but Stay is worst. We booked Tamilnadu pachamalai forest department guest house, but they don't give any commitment and did made us to shift our rooms based on their moods and needs. When we didn't give in, they made us vacate mid of day even in rainy weather. They shown the worst hospitality and imposing their authority to lie through their teeth and force us out. Shame on you people!!
