The ambience is good and makes you feel like royalty. However, the experience with the food was highly disappointing. First of all, the menu is quite limited with very few dishes. This is especially true for the vegetarian options, where there are very few choices outside of paneer. We tried the kheema and gatta sabzi, but the taste of both was very ordinary. The former was absolutely appalling as it tasted like stale canned meat and had no flavour. The gatta gravy was fine but the gatta itself seemed undercooked. Overall, very disappointing, especially for the price you pay. Nearby restaurants could probably offer you much better value. You pay for the ambience and experience of being treated like royalty, but the food is so ordinary that the extortionate prices don't fit the bill.

This place will surely give you the vibe of Rajputs. You will feel like you are having a meal in the palace itself. The ambience is very vintage and pleasant. They serve you in Silver utensils. Food tastes excellent. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. A must visit restaurant if you like the vintage vibe.

Fantastic place! There's Indian and international fare, our kids enjoyed their fish & chips and mango lassi; my husband and I had soup and various dishes. We especially liked the Paneer Makhani (cheese in pink sauce) and Bhindi Palak Bhujia (okra and spinach salad). None of these two dishes are spicy, just go ahead and order them you won't regret it! Also, the menu clearly indicates the level of spiciness for each dish, which is helpful. Service is phenomenal and the decor is great.

Very luxurious restaurant in the vicinity of the City Palace. Has good spread menu with delicious dishes. The price ranges are on the higher side but the ambience and quality service takes good care of it. Do try the experience once! Also it has really good washrooms with bathing facility and was a saviour for me in the City Palace surrounding as a person who is picky about washrooms.

One of the best restaurants in the city, in the Shivnivas Palace hotel, city palace. Experience dining like the Royalty. Great ambience, they also have outdoor sitting by the poolside, which is divine experience, given that one is seated by the pool in the brilliantly lit up palace courtyard. Menu has limited options, but food is excellent, both Indian as well as Continental cuisine. And unlike other premium restaurants in Udaipur, prices are quite reasonable. Reservations strongly recommended...

Great service, lovely views and tasty food. What more can one ask for.

They do not know how to attend a customer. The staff needs to be more trained especially their communication skills.

Shame. Great Lal Mas and Veggie Biryani. Unfortunately there were hairs in the curry! Kid's spaghetti Bolognese was very good.
