The best place to get the view of Bettada Bairaveshwara temple. The view of Ettina Bhuja, Shishila peak and other peaks are extraordinary. If you visit Bhairaveshwara temple, you mustn't miss to visit this place. The hike terrain is medium and takes 1/2 hour for the overall hike.
Another nice place to go off-roading and hiking at the same time. A good off-roader like thar can go all the way up to the base of the hill on the road by the temple otherwise park at the temple. Then there is a small hike to the peak, the real peak is beyond the peak seen from the start of the trail. From the peak on the east you can see Jenukallu peak and Deepadha kallu peak and on the north west is Ettina Bhuja. The hike can be completed in half an hour.
It's suited next to betta bhairaveshwara temple. From temple u can this the top of betta. U can walk from temple or there is mud road where u can reach the base of peak(only bike). Then the claim to top will test your stamina. Do carry water and food. No shops nearby. On top will get a fantastic view of ghats, everywhere mountains with full or greenish plants.
This is small hike. Round trip might take around 45 min ( depending on your fitness) I would suggest to try hard once like eithna bujja
An awesome place and best part is it's a small trek from Bairaveshwara Swamy Temple. Once you reach the top you'll get a awesome look of the surrounding hills. If you want to enjoy the sunrise or sunset this a wonderful spot. Best to start the trek before 7am so that you will have a nice view of the surrounding hills.
Pandavara betta trecking trail has a gradual ascent which has the rocky inclining slope... view from the top is magnificent.
A good Trekking or hiking place... Best to visit early in the morning, moderate level and can be completed by taking breaks...
