If you r searching for pocket friendly authentic bengali foods then you must visit Paanch Phoron. This restaurant is located in the lane just opposite the Auto Stand of Siliguri Bidhan Market. This time we had basanti pulao and mutton kosha. The rate of which was 270/-. And took veg thali. This 160 rupees vej thali had rice, cholar dal, beguni, lau er ghonto, chhanar dalna, chatni, misti. Finally took Nolen Gurer Icecream and Dab Icecream. Rs 110 each. Almost every item was tasty. The only problem here is that since the place is small (seats about 20 people) you may have to wait for a long time here in the afternoon.
A go to place for pocket friendly Bengali cuisine. Each and every item on their menu is top notch with accordance to taste, quality and price. You won't be disappointed with any item both in terms of quality and quantity. The atmosphere gets crowded quite often, occasionally there's a waiting list as the sitting area is a bit tight, but the service and the food is worth waiting for.
We had to wait for a long time to get a table. It's a small place that can have 10-15 people together at a time. Food was pretty much moderate. Do step in for a family lunch or if you want to taste traditional bengali cuisine.

Authentic Bengali cuisine restaurant with nice ambiance. Bengali thali available daily at rs.150/- onwards. Other Chinese, North Indian dishes are also available. Wash room available. Noticed rush in 1-2:30 pm breakfast time. Overall nice experience but bill not gotten.

It was an awesome experience there in Paanch Phoron Siliguri. Normally the rush hours will be from 2pm to 3:30pm. Food quality is quite good wrt the price. Veg thali is Rs150 with alternate items (about 7 items) regularly. You can club the Al aCarte non veg items (specially the fish) with that thali. A must visit place if you r searching for pocket friendly authentic bengali foods in siliguri. Must try the 'Dab chingri' !!
For Traditional best Bengali food You can choose this restaurant .. They provide best food quality and they have separate dishes for days in a week.They Also special Chef food for the day.
