The cave of Brahmanand is located at a distance of 4 km from Malvan near Malvan-Achara road in Rewandi village. This cave is situated in a forest. There is a place for meditation (Samadhi) beside the cave, which is carved in a single "Jambha" stone. The place is also called as Ozareshwar due to the presence of 'Swayambhu Pindi' of Lord Shiva in this cave temple. Among the trees, there is a clean water reservoir present, which remains filled with water throughout the season. The cave is named after Swami Brahmanand, who was a follower of Swami Nityanand of Vajreshwari. Swami Brahmanand arrived at this place in the year of 1941 and did meditation here for more than 36 years. His Samadhi is made outside the cave on his 'Asthikalash'.
Peaceful place. Positive vibes around. Only Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj could have thought of this building almost 8km underground cave which connects from Sindhudurg fort to Ozar caves. Jai Bhawani Jai Shivaji

Tranquil This place is a hidden gem. This is beauty of Malvan. Beautiful nature all around. Just heavenly silent and captivating I can say. I like listening to historic stories and visiting places like this and this is my fav one. They offer food (lunch) here which is so good... Just wow.. Overall loved it.
It's a Junction where all state transport buses and private buses stops here. One road goes to malvan, one goes to Achara, one goes to kandalgaon and Bharadi devi mandir and one goes to kudal, vengurla etc. There is samadhi of brahmanand swami nearby. Which is great place to be.
