OYO Xpress Inn - Hotel in North Dumdum - 24 Paraganas North, India

Room condition is not good at all, This hotel charged me with ac but after 11pm they switched off AC. Lift available but mostly they switched off. Very bed experience.

The experience was not good at all. I stayed for around 18 hrs, but it becomes so noisy till 12 midnight that it's even impossible to sleep. Also, they don't accept UPI payments during check ins. The place is not good to stay with family. Rooms are too small. Wifi was not working, so had to ask them again to get it working. Food is good but quite expensive. Bathrooms are not clean and small as well. They don't allow outside food which is okay, but still they checked our bags rudely in case we're carrying any food. It's really rude and unprofessional. Water bottles are expensive and would cost 42 rupess for 1 litre, evethough MRP is just 30. Also, you won't be getting a cab easily from there, as the location is on highway yet remote.

Good place but food is very expensive

Its a nice and beautiful place. They have cozy and clean air conditioned rooms. The views from the window is marvelous if you're staying at the top floor. They have their restaurant and food is really good but no outside food is allowed inside the hotel. Since its located beside the road the hotel can easily be identified from any vehicle. The service is good and its quite affordable.

Right from the beginning they denied check in. I had already booked one room and paid the full amount. They did not accept my online payment and I had to again pay money and take another room. Worst experience of all. Too much harassment right from the beginning. Then they gave us a room which was very small and even the washroom did not have a lock. Very small washroom and also they did not provide the complimentary breakfast.

Never go in this hotel..worst.. Bathroom has no lock..worst experience in my life.. .They denied check in saying that they don't accept online payment mode even after I paid the full amount online. We had to again book offline and they charged more and the room was so small. Also saying free breakfast, they didn't provide us with that.

The housekeeping of the space in front of hotel and ground floor corridor has opportunities for improvements. It was shabby when I visited. There was a wine shop at ground floor which made the place little uncanny. The reception area was under lit. Internet was not working, no WiFi even payments had to be made on cash. No uniformed / designated security guard.
