OYO Townhouse 161 Maitreyee - Hotel in Nagpur - Nagpur, India

Enjoyed the stay completely. Great hospitality and friendly front desk guys. We went as a big group and felt it comfortable. There is some renovation going on now and it might give a different opinion about the hotel when you log in but the stay was great. Surrounded by good restaurants, small eateries, bank and cool pubs, location of the hotel was above expectation. The only - (minus) was food which was complementary was not suitable for South Indians. Instead we chose to go with the local eateries and street shops which were more to our liking.

Do not go by the photos at all! This is the worst townhouse I have ever stayed in. The staff is highly unprofessional and rude. Non of them were wearing masks and no one helped with our luggage. The rooms are disastrously small, just enough room for a bed. There were no clean sheets, AC didn't work. The bathroom stank, taps were wobbly. Do not go there!

Rooms are good for 1-2 days stay. Position of the Tv is very up. It becomes difficult to watch. But the amenities provided are hopeless. No towel, no proper drinking water arrangement. Even the flush doesnt work sometimes. It takes time in that flush drum to load water. Even drinking water bottle was kept open when I checked in. There were no glasses. Instead they should provide mineral water. Only thing is if you book through Oyo, you will get it in very cheap price.

This hotel does not have good room service or kitchen service for sure. Breakfast is so so and needs improvement in taste and quality. We landed in the hotel on Holi day and it felt like entering a shut hotel. No staff, no kitchen facilities, not even tea or coffee for that day or laundry. Their banner says outside food not allowed but we had to order something from outside because they did not operate their kitchen on Holi and they allowed it. Room was not checked before we entered as water bottle was kept open without a lid, dampen smell in the room, had leakage marks and didn't feel to the standard for townhouse types at all. Outside ambience is okay though but room was not so good.I do feel our room was not clean as it was dusty to walk barefeet on the floor. No towels on their holidays provided. Breakfast is put up they claim by 8 am but without milk for any tea or coffee until 8:45 am. Breakfast area is noisy and their cutlery is not up to mark. We always had to ask for a cup or a spoon. Menu is not that great for the price we paid for each day Rs 2200 approx. We ordered coffee for room service and all we got was a milk kettle with sugar and only 4 coffee sachets for 2 people. So you make your own coffee and pay for milk n sachets. If your only looking for stay, choice is yours but as a townhouse hotel, nothing special or even standard about this one.

Stayed here on 26.12.19. Hot water is an issue here. In bathroom they have Gyser switch through which hot water will come that also after 20mins and after 1to 2 mins again cold water will start coming even if switch is ON. In such cold weather I had to take cold shower. Also their bed sheet liners are not spotless. Also after complaining and checking out from hotel got 2to 3times call from their hotel asking what is the issue, even if explaining to reception and one person on phone was not enough. Also on Check-in they never mention how hot water will come and we have such issues of hot water....

I had a wonderful experience at the MAITRAYEE. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and all staff was great and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting in Nagpur.

Hotel is very good on the inside. Rooms are clean and fancy. But AC was not working and even TV was not recharged. Check those before you Check In the room.

Only rooms are good. Other than room, nothing is good. Staff are also not good, they dont have hot water facilities for drinking and bath. Rooms are not worth the money paid
