OYO Spring Fields - Hotel in Patna - Patna, India

I don't really understand how OYO is working with such properties. It was quite disappointing not to locate the hotel as no signboard is there and proper address is not mentioned anywhere. Nearby people can't tell anything about the so called hotel by its name. I was already at location however couldn't find it and called the contact number given by OYO and to my surprise they cancelled the booking and when asked about refund they say you need to contact Customer service at OYO. Wow, that's a great hospitality really! It was already around 9:00 PM and we were tired after a long journey. After that I tried booking another hotels and also came to know by talking to receptionists at couple of them that in Patna hotels don't accept online payment. OYO should clearly mention it if there is such case. As this hotel is in a colony, OYO should mention the house number and ensure to display prominently that it's a OYO stay. After this incident I just don't book any hotel by OYO.

The name "home stay" does truly fits to this place. Not because of the hospitality but because of its location and approachability. No navigation and not easily able to locate from the main road. Thats the main reason to dislike it. Hotel is inside a colony and above a residential building. Even shopkeeper and nearby people can't tell where it is exactly. Another disappointment is that rooms are on 4th and 5th floor and building doesn't have lift so if you are carrying luggage, thats gonna break ur back! And also if you are accompanying PWD or patient, this place is not good for you as without lift it is not a wheelchair accessible and not PH friendly. Thirdly it is like 4-5 km from railway station/ airport. And neither cab drivers nor rickshaw pullers have any idea where it is. For OLA cab they charge about 150-200to station. (there is no uber service in Patna currently and ola is doing monopoly business here) rickshaw pullers charge 60-80 bucks. There is no good restaurant / eatery around here so if you want to have a meal or dine, u gonna have to ride a cab or rickshaw to have meal in a descent place. Otherwise fast food is available in hand pulled carts. As the in-house food service of the hotel is quite expensive and not value for money going out is the only option. Veg plate will cost u around Rs.250 !! Cup of Tea is 20 INR. But the pros : The rooms are quite good and bathrooms are clean and tidy. Hot water geyser is available AC, TV etc are all upto the mark. Beds, linen towel etc are in next to new conditions . Excellent room service. Also a quite, peaceful and serene stay. The only reason of giving it a two star is the warm hospitality and room service, other wise i would have given it 1 star.

Homemade foods are the main attraction..Large room n toilet..takes only 10 minutes from Patna Station..Early check in doesn't cost anymore..maintainance needs to be improved..

No sign board or any identification to find out that it's a hotel. Actually it's home stay only. Nice room & good food.
