This has been one of my best experiences of staying at a resort. I'm truly touched by every aspect of it. Starting with the rooms-they are made with acute aesthetic judgement and extreme attention to detail. You feel like you are living in the home of local community members. I loved the cottage style huts secluded in the cradle of nature (with all the amenities of a resort). The atmosphere surely adds to this. The resort is just beside a national park, and is both filled and surrounded by lush greenery. You might spot an occasional peacock or elephant as well. If you want peace of mind this is the place to go. The food is truly something else. They serve a variety of delicacies and allow you to choose from a list of options for every meal. The best part is that every dish feels home-cooked. It is light and healthy. You are unlikely to get sick because of eating too much (which you inevitably will because it's simply that delicious). Every penny spent on food here is worth it. Lastly, the most touching part of our stay here was the exceptional service. The staff quite amazingly maintained the balance between professionalism and personal touch. They talk and behave in a way which shows that they are not merely doing their duty but actually care about your experience. I have not received such service anywhere else. These people certainly don't work just for the paycheck which is rare to see nowadays, especially for tourists coming from a metropolitan city. All in all, I would not only recommend this place 100% but would also find excuses to visit again many more times. If you are keen to experience the tranquility of Dooars and the hospitality of locals, this is where you should stay.

Worst experience ever . They charge you on person basis not room wise and they gives limited food , no buffet system . Breakfast they will give you bare minimum. There is no first aid , even though it's inside a forest .Staff don't have knowledge about where the first aid is kept . Only a single owner is managing everything. No network and not even the resort wifi works. During booking they will not mention about GST but will charge while checking out. No cleaning of room even after telling . Owner needs to learn how to run a hotel business.

Worst trip experience. First of the owner needs to learn to run a hotel. He was very rude and unwelcoming during our entire stay. Went with 2 of my friends on 29 september to 1oct. Booked 1 room for 3. They charge you per person and not per room. GST is not mentioned on their website but they will charge you the same if you try to pay them with online mode. They demanded cash for which we have to go to an ATM to get. Room quality was way below the price we paid. On their website and in their entry form it is written that consumption or keeping alcohol is strictly prohibited but a group of men were drinking right infront of their common alleyway. Even owner of the place was smoking everywhere on the property despite telling us this is a smoke free zone. Attitude of the owner was very rude. Maybe that is why there were very few people staying there. Stay- They dont clean rooms everyday unless you go and request. No hand wash soap available. No room service available as there is no phone in room to call reception. No extra towels provided. Very bad non branded ACs are installed which does not work in that hot and humid temperature. Water is also very hard. Not even basic first aid was available at the resort. Food - There is no menu in the kitchen they only have 2 options in non-veg that too they alternate daily. Either it will be mutton or chicken. Also it is limited to 1 small katori which is not even sufficient for a kid. You can only choose between roti or rice. Cant choose both. For veg its worse as you will only eat one small katori of paneer everyday. Food quality is also not very good. They serve every thing in paper plate. After paying so much we atleast expect some cutlery. Breakfast is even worse as even a kid wont be satisfied in such small quantity. Not exaggerating at all. Above all you have to tell if you want to eat a day before to get it next day. It is not like resort is very far from shops.they are right around the corner. There are so so many other things wrong with that place that I can only recommend please dont go there. otherwise You will only regret. There are many hotels available nearby that I saw on other wesites and on the road which are way cheaper and will serve you way better.

First of all no medical emergency assistance in the resort. They don't provide soap in the bathroom, you won't find a telephone or a Tv in the room . They charge for in room dinner service. Don't be a fool and plan your trip by watching those YouTube videos because those are paid.

Excellent is the only word that comes to my mind in jotting down my review. The peace and serenity, the hygiene maintained, the ambience, the rooms, the food, the services rendered deserve a A Grade, not to speak of the benevolence of the captain of the Team,'Babloo Da'. God willing,we are visiting on November 2023.

This is the best option if you are planning to stay amidst the jungle in the Dooars region. Bablu Da is such a nice person to interact with Tea during any time of the day. Great place to visit with your friends and family.

During the course of the booking process, we categorically mentioned multiple times the type of rooms we intended to stay in (Alpine) and the number of occupants (6) that included our pet dog. The owner strategically kept silent about the category of rooms being booked. When we reached, to our surprise, we were taken to the most basic accommodation available on the premises, even though the charges were identical to the Alpine rooms. On mentioning that we had booked the above, the owner curtly let us know that tourists accompanied by pets were only allotted these rooms, that it was impossible for him to provide us with the Alpine rooms, and other tourists in the Alpine line of rooms might harbor reservations about the pet. This made us wonder why the same rules did not apply to the rooms we got and if they did, why it was labelled as a pet-friendly resort on its website to begin with. On entering the ethnic mud hut line of rooms, we realized that the AC rooms only had a bed, a rickety two-seater bench, an equally small center table, a shelf-like contraption, and was devoid of any other form of furniture. Even the three charging points were inconveniently positioned on one side of the room. Considering the fact that we had 2 senior citizens in our group, it was extremely uncomfortable, as they were forced to sit either on the bed or the floor. Two wooden stools were present in the verandah that were more decorative than functional. The only view the ethnic mud huts offered were the rear end of an adjacent property and the moat. The premises in general were restricted to a patch of grass in front of the rooms and a narrow, cobbled pathway that connected to an extended area in front of the gate that, in turn, led to an expanded area of green at the other end of the resort. The food though tasty was priced exorbitantly. The restrictions for the guests outnumbered the facilities. Above all, the attitude of the owner was forbidding in nature and discouraged communication. We had booked a 7-day stay at the resort. However, the shortcomings and inconveniences compelled us to cut short our stay and move out in 2 days flat to a neighboring, pet-friendly resort. Such was our desperation to leave that we were willing to pay 25% cancellation charges on the tariff of the remaining 5 days. Due to unknown reasons, the owner, after informing us of the said cancellation charges, decide to forego the same. Overall, we feel that the hype created around this resort and its owner, "Bablu da," is more of a gimmick, aided by YouTube vlogs. The only saving grace was the conduct of and service provided by the resort staff.

Awesome visited this year and the experience was outstanding the ambience was out of the world and food mind blowing. I strongly recommend everyone to visit this place for once as the place will give a boost to your inner peace and do visit with a group as they offer six cottages in a row so try to take a lot then the entire boundary will be yours to enjoy. Good place for kids too.
