OYO Mini's Wind Haven - Hotel in Ramakkal - Idukki, India

The room are average , heater wasn't working. Service also average food wasn't good . The location is cool it's ok if you are getting there with friends

The rooms were moderately clean. But had worst service. We were paying and staying, but the expression the lady in charge had through out seemed as we were using it for free. The staffs seemed to be very hostile and they were not at all cooperative throughout our stay there

Absolutely delightful stay. Had booked 5 rooms for a large family group. We were offered rooms according to our convenience. Scenic view from hilltop, spectacular view of thick mist in the morning from rooms facing the hill is something to cherish. Good location, well maintained, delicious food and amazing hospitality. Had funfilled musical campfire, till midnight, thanks to the staff.Awesome and memorable experience. Thank u Mrs.Mini,for making our stay comfortable.

A New Experience...... Beautiful resort with extraordinary hospitality...This Picturesque resort offers delicious buffet lunch/dinner. Great combination of Veg/Non-veg dishes and desserts. Rooms are spacious and looks luxurious. Staff were very friendly and helpful..above all I would say it was a homely feel... A must visit place!!!!!

It is at the best location. Just at the last junction point, where you can drive a car. From there, you need to walk to one hill, and can drive to the other hill and come back. The right location for a hotel.!! Good rooms , good staff, no toiletries, no towel. Food need to be ordered in advance. I had chappathi and chicken curry for dinner, and it was delicious.

The review posted by Ms. Lavyana is very true This resort is not a resort but indeed a madhouse, 2 funny looking rooms were allotted to us with a 16 inch laptop screen which I think was a showpiece with no channel on it. Before we checked in there were 2 families living there, 2 cockroaches and 3 earthworms. She argued all the time we ordered dal makani and she automatically change the order. We asked for two teas and received 2 coffees. And the food was crap literally. The menu present in the room was 7 years old and had rates of 2012 and the bill had triple the printed rate. A cheap trick on the people and it was done by ms mini and our travel agent Same thing happened with the WiFi password and they didn't even connect as it did with ms lavnya. She is a literal psycho hotel manager and please don't even think of staying there. If you do u will bear the consequences. And this hotel is not a 4 star hotel Rooms were gloomy even the corridor were dark, no good food, and the place is too far away from thekkday 1hr and 45 mins. She got fake stars for the hotel and the fake ratings on Google.

Best budget hotel to stay in ramakkalmedu.... As mentioned spend the evening at kuravan kurathi hills... Enjoy the beauty of western ghats at the eastern border of Kerala.... Commenting on room- well maintained also room service was available round the clock.... Guess the reason is due to less rush... Even the person who was in charge enquired about the stay also offered rooms for decent tariff than their standard rate....

A perfect and peaceful holiday destination. Ramakkal is an ideal holiday spot for hill, forest and adventure seekers. There are vast mountains to trek and unexplored forests to discover. Weather is relatively cooler with gusting winds throughout (Visited in March 2016). Wind Haven resort is ideally located at the foothills of Kuravan and Ramakkal mount. Rooms are very clean and service is excellent. Choose the sunrise suits to enjoy the sunrise through the mountains. Location is accessible by private buses. However, own transport is the best as you will need a transport to visit nearby attractions. The jeep safary to the turtle rock shall not be missed. Plan you Top station trekking in the evening. To explore whole of Ramakkal one must keep at leas 2 days here.
