OYO Maa Tara Guest House Near Acropolis Mall - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

After surgery I need to wait for next checkup..I cant walk properly so I have to take a room nearest place of my hospital...unfortunately I am going to this hotel....they cant provide better room with comod facility in the ground foor..so they give a room in 1st floor but they refused to give lift facility after having a good quality lift....on that time I cant go to search another one. So I bound to take risk... ..after this they dont provide room service cleaning..bathgroom shop...even proper bad sheet Which room I have ocupied this is a AC room @ Rs.800/- without Ac but I cant use it without their permssion So when asked their staff they told us if u give 1300/- then u can use Ac also...but my health condition is sudden fall due to over hit in summer time....my old aged mom ask them to start AC at 12pm they charged us more 700/- only for that night. Even the staffs behavior with my family just worst. They blame us they have facing loss to giving us this room. staff behavior..service...commitment.. .even rooms are so bad so wrost...they only knows money..they dont have humanity. I NEVER EVER FORGOT THIS SERVICE.

Avoid this place Mukundpur as much as possible. Get better rooms near Howrah, even Baghajatin, Jadavpur. Lodge owner in this place has a dishonest nexus. The take booking via online and show low price. When you reach this remote location, they will tell no room available. Then you have to find nearby lodge (because generally you will be tired and poor communication from here). Then nearby lodge will charge very high price. They will charge minimum double than what price showing on Google.

A horrible experience. I have booked via Oyo, and payment has already done and then I received a confirmation mail. While I entered in reception they have rejected us and says "you haven't called us before booking." They told us "you may book our own rooms with 1.5 k then will provide room." They haven't take any responsibility about it, just ignored us.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Rooms are disgusting, the bathrooms have no light even in the room there is 1 mini light by which you can barely see the everything. I don't even want to talk about the service, they don't have arrangements for food for the guests and don't even allow order food online through any food delivery applications. Also the change they are demanding for those types of room is unbelievable, almost 2000 rupees for 1 room. Even if you booked rooms from OYO in low price they demand more money to give the room when you reached the hotel for check in. And how can I forget about the behaviour it horrible they literally treating you if you are an outsider/tourist if you try to bargain price with them. Highly not recommended to anyone. I request OYO to look into this type of things and check before giving licence to this types of hotels where in the the customers will need suffer and also the image of OYO is affecting for this types of reasons.

It needs to be reviewed as We have a lot of harassment and inconvenience from the hotel side. Never book it from OYO. Not recommended for Patients with Family members. I would give -100 stars if possible. Unhealthy Water logging is a big issue. The rooms are not Good at all . Cheap crowds, Nasty Rooms, Overpriced cheap quality roadside food . They forced us to cancel our OYO Booking and typically managed to manipulate us to stay on their personal booking. After that they gave us the worst rooms we have ever seen. When we asked for the GST bill they refused. I request OYO to take proper action so that no one gets harassed in future any more. Never recommend to anyone.

I booked the room at midnight because I had an emergency but when I reached to the property they said that they will not conceder my booking,I'll have to pay 800 rupees extras. Now I'm no more using oyo and I'll not recommend to anyone.

Toilet door was broken and not so clean. TV was not running and Gixxer was not working. Asked for hot water, I have waited more than 12 hours to get hot water. You have to enter through their kitchen most of the time. They don't agree to open main door most of the time. Overall worst experience.

My room amount was 677but manager charged 1200. I was informed to oyo customer care during my stay..He told me to go to reception to talk to the manager. but the manager was not there then ..I want my extra money back..the manager totally denied to give any receipt copy too..such horrible experience
