They don't honour the booking from App. Worse class service. They cancelled our booking done on an App. just on the day of visit. Which created a lot of inconvenience to us. BE CAREFUL,WHILE BOOKING THEIR GUEST HOUSE.

Review: OYO Live Inn Guest House, Shillong Rating: (2 out of 5 stars) My recent stay at OYO Live Inn Guest House in Shillong left me with mixed feelings. However, there were a few aspects of the guest house that fell short of expectations. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. The bedding and linens were not adequately fresh and appeared worn. The rooms themselves lacked proper maintenance, with broken fixtures and outdated furniture. This impacted the overall comfort and quality of the stay. Another disappointment was the lack of amenities and facilities. The guest house lacked basic amenities such as a restaurant or even a proper dining area. This limited dining options and made it inconvenient for guests who preferred to have meals within the premises. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi connectivity was unreliable, causing inconvenience for guests who relied on internet access for work or communication. One area where OYO Live Inn Guest House could significantly improve is in terms of noise control. The walls were thin, making it difficult to have a peaceful and quiet stay. Noise from neighboring rooms or outside could be heard easily, disrupting sleep and relaxation. The pricing of the guest house seemed a bit high considering the overall quality and amenities provided. It would be beneficial for the management to reassess the pricing structure to ensure it aligns better with the value offered. In conclusion, while OYO Live Inn Guest House in Shillong has its advantages in terms of location and friendly staff, the lack of cleanliness, outdated facilities, limited amenities, and noise issues detract from the overall experience. Cancelled the booking a day before, stating sorry room you booked ,someone is staying there. Avoid this for your trip to Shillong. Other people reviews facing same issue.

In a word...worst hotel i have ever stayed. This oyo room just needs to shut down. Stop making fool of people, and looting their money, this hotel doesn't justify even a quater of its rate. The room smells stinky everywhere, poor ventilation , no light coming inside u feel as if living in some cave. broken holders and cealing of fungus's everywhere. There is no room service at all. Nobody comes to clean the room or change the bedsheets, towels etc. Toiletries not supplied everyday. Bathroom smells worst, no ventilation, no cleaning, basin blocked, WC broken and all. No restaurant in the hotel, you can order dinner at their time not yours and they will get it from some road side shop and let you pay packing and other service charge. And about the complimentary breakfast, boy knocks in your door and ask rudly what you want bread omlet or cornflaks. And if you say bread butter, you will have a reply we dont have butter eat only bread. I just skipped my complimentary breakfast after the first day, better have your fooding outside there are some good restaurant in Police Bazar(PB). Location: It is quite far from PB, have to make 20min walk from some deserted land and lake, better avoid late night return to hotel. The hotel says 24 hr power, whereas they have no power or any backup every night and morning hours. If you are in a hurry early morning to have a warm bath and leave, then forget that till 7am. Power comes after that. Billing: They will not provide you any gst bill if you have booked online, simply denied it. I would suggest just avoid this hotel, there are many hotels in police bazar area much cheaper then this, and having better service. Just think and decide.

Service is good but the rooms are not clean

The hotel consists of 4 rooms out of which we were in room number 4 and 2. Room number 2 is airy and sunny but room number 4 has no windows it's cold and damped. Room service was too bad the blankets were wet and smelly. Bathroom accessories were too complicated. Overall it's not worthy of its price which was around Rs10406 as two days package without any complimentary breakfast or meal. Even breakfast consists of bread and butter, Kelloggs, Maggie, bread omlet which we overheard while discussing with our neighbouring roommates

Cleanliness- decent Room quality- average... The windows are not completely sealed. So, the room became a little cold. Food- Did not try TV had very limited channels. The owner also provide some taxis. Was able to negotiate a good deal with him for Guwahati airport.

This is a highly ill managed guest house to stay in. The rooms are mighty small for the charges they take. The running water is dirty, reddish in fact. There's literally suffocation when you stay for more than a day. The fact that there's no restaurant makes it worse. Their electricity backup is bad too. I did not like it at all.
