OYO K B Residency - Hotel in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

Booked in Agoda for late early morning check-in for 3 members including me and was unable to get their contact to let them know prior, so had to rely on Oyo which I Informed them and added as a special request. But when we went to the hotel in the early morning, the owner threw us out by saying no rooms were there. He was not even concerned that we had booked his place despite having two stars. Now after seeing his attitude, I would say it deserves 2 stars and because of his behaviour, I would give it 1 star from my end as a customer. He did not even bother about the three of us that we are standing in the middle of the road as booked and paid customers. A very bad experience and I am waiting for a refund from Agoda which is still not guaranteed. Still a big concern in our society about the guarantee of the booking system by these hospitality services and not getting a booked room even after paying.

One of the worst hotel in chennai donot book here, they ask for more money and their behaviour will be humiliated. Hotel management simply no tie-up with booking and OYO or what ever booking you make and I already reported to concern booking websites.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

I booked through Oyo web site and payment done through Phonepe. Hotel manager was not accepted. When I verified with Oyo customer care they simply denied receipt of any payment stating Oyo have not received as it is done through web and not on App. Another customer care accepted less receipt of payment. I wasted my 1 hour convincing them but failed. Finally I negotiated with hotel manager and rented room. I have most worst experience with Oyo again. Advised to improve customer care service and overall services. Thanks Oyo

They do not accept online bookings and charges 4x than online charges when we reach there. After making numerous calls to 'cleartrip' they had given me a room after 1.5 hrs wait. It happens majority of the Chennai and Bangalore hotels. Very much old building, room and toilets were in pathetic condition. Bed linen were very dirty. Our conscious mind will not allow to sit on the chair or on the bed. It is better to stay at the Tambaram Railway platform than this hotel.

Hotel denied Checkin asking for more money. The reception guy was rude. I directly spoke with owner he was more rude. He is simply telling pay more money and check in. Also we checked room if it is worth paying the money. Simply the room was dungeon. Very bad smell in the room. Bedsheets very unclean. It is better to stay in platform rather than choosing this room. However when I told I will not pay more money. They didn't allow to checkin. Booking platform provided me with the refund. But still very bad experience.

Not accepting online booking and charging triple the amount of online booking. Rooms and beds were very dirty and panparak shades on all corners of the room.

There is fraudulent activities happening in this hotel, I had booked via MakeMyTrip website and at the time of checkin, they denied the checkin. They were asking for additional 1200 per room, they acted innocent saying that how such a low price is possible, and they don't give rooms below Rs.1500. Now I see even other customers faced similar issue. Be careful, don't fall for low price, these guys are simply cheating customers. Wish companies like MMT delist such fraudulent hotels.

Dont book hotel through OYO. Waste of money and time and effort to visit hotels. Booking charges to OYO is not considered at hotel and asking for standard charges of hotel Rs1500. I want to give zero stars, The booking price Rs500(oyo) is not accepted at hotel. Hotel reception asking more money while checkin as per hotel ratesRs 1500. Reception behaviour is very rude. OYO will simply book another hotel at different place. and if the 2nd hotel also not accepted the offer 3rd hotel at different place.
