OYO Hotel Ymca Near Cubbon Park - Hotel in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

The location is really good, surrounded by prime landmarks in the heart of the city. It's calm and peacefull too. The rooms are airy, spacious, neat and well maintained. Most rooms even have a balcony. But the wifi username and password they provide automatically signs out after a couple of hours and doesn't log in even after umpteen tries. Their service is prompt amd courteous.

Nice hospitality I don't think that anyone can get good hotel in this rate. They all are very helpful . Especially Mr. Tilak and Chandershekher are very helpful and ready to help you anytime with a smiling face. Rooms are neat and clean. Need to add some item in buffet breakfast as I stay with you guys for six nights and never see any north Indian food there . Rest every thing is fine. Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and understanding even if the reservation on their OYO system was cancelled for no reason. The place does not look nice, new and shiny like in the pictures, and it is clean-ish. However, the ground floor room can be quite loud during the night and morning, as it's right behind the reception (locals like to watch movies on their phones, phone calls, loud talking, cooking). Breakfast is better than expected. It's probably not worth the whole 3 stars, according to foreign standards

Experience Was very disappointing. First impression was very bad. Manager claimed that Oyo had paid them rs. 40 ( yes only rs. 40) less. So , inspite of no fault of us, they were very very hesitant to even check us in, not even considering that we had taken almost 24 hour journey. I had to literally at them, saying it's an issue between you and Oyo. Why are you dragging us in? He eventually allowed us to check us. And I paid off rs. 40. The cleanliness is below standard. It looks like the corners of walls have not been cleaned since weeks. Cleaning here is superficial and not detailed. Power cuts is big issue and they take lot of time to get the generator up and running. One early morning, in the summer heat, they took almost 2 hours to get it going. One amazing thing is they allow change of towels only once every 2 days while all other hotels give you fresh towels daily, even twice a day, if required. Good thing is the Nisarg garden restaurant nearby which is very good. Food is lovely there.

The worst accommodation experience of my life. I had booked a room through the OYO website ( Now i understand it's a pathetic place to book rooms from) and when I along with my mother reached there we were given a room with dirty bathroom first and then a room with malfunctioning A/C. Also we paid 400 rupees extra for early check-in and the room cost us initially 1200 rupees. Now the total was 1600 rupees. Later we were told that those rooms were blocked because they were unfit to accommodate guests. Why did we get unfit rooms? The staff there is also bad. People who don't know how to interact the proper way. One staff shouted at us while another didn't even bother to give a reply when we complained. I hope no one ever stays there. Bad place. Bad Staff. I cringe by just thinking about it.

We have been associated with YMCA for our short stay right from 1996 mainly to Bom international house. Having my daughter enrolled in a prestigious college in Bangalore I resorted to ymca Bangalore. Initially the booking were done directly and it was as wonderful as Bombay except the recent stay with my family and brother from 10th to 12th. We have booked through OYO, 2 double rooms (for my husband me and my 2 children ;4 persons) and 1 single room for my brother for 2days Right from beginning, YMCA reception male staff with a beard who couldn't converse well in english were giving a negative vibe in attitude, approach and service when we pointed a trivial discrepancy in rate confirmed in system and he was behaving as though he's offering a free stay. This is not the customer care expected and is totally unacceptable especially from a reputed firm. OYO representative who were present there intervened and resolved the issue of this trivial discrepancy in rate received at time of booking, after realising it's their system glitch than our problems. We were informed chk out at 11am( all these info shared in system confirmation) and since our return is at evening on 12th, we requested to book a single room on payment for a day to keep our luggage even though we might be using the room for hardly 4 hours just for freshen up. The lady staff who was really courteous informed us about luggage locker facilities in case we needed. On 12th morning we approached counter for chk out and booking for a single room for luggage, this beard staff denied in mostly in Kannada language and bits of english. Since no time or interest for argument we went ahead for pack up and the same fellow had the audacity to call us in room and said we must check out at 1100 in a very stubborn irritating way with no elementary courtesy We stay after making the right payment and no staff can meddle our peacefulness during our span whoever he is. We got more annoyed since we were there as family and we are there for the booked time only not for the entire year. When we were down with our luggage confronted him about the insulting tone, tenure with zero customer care, he acted busy over a call and prolonged it while OYO captain and the other lady staff were heard asking him about the irrelevant call made and keeping customers unhappy and irritated which will definitely reflect on you. Either YMCA BLR is least bothered about customers by having these type of negative guys who don't have basic manners, customer skills at counter or they are not interested in refined business in keeping their standards intact and high as expected or once experienced.

I came to Banglore to attend one of my relative's wedding at Hudson memorial Church.The hotel is located in Nrupathunga road right next to Reserve Bank of India and apparently very close to Hudson memorial Church. The rooms are excellent with 24hrs hot water and electricity. The room has 2 beds,a TV,a closet and a really good bathroom. The room service was really good and the hotel also had WiFi. I had a really good stay

It's a good budgetary hotel . I just love such kind of places , which are in the centre of city and are highly spacious and have greenery in the hotel. Excellent staff service and highly cooperative staff. Cleanliness is good and on the basis of rate they charge, everything else is just excellent . Near to Majestic, Bangalore city railway station , and many other important monuments . Awesome place ..
