OYO Hotel Shiva - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Reception person( boy ) he don't have any any hospitality behaviour. He don't know how to talk with the customer. Worst experience. Really I am saying that guy behaviour was very bad.

It's Good hotel and also friendly staff, I like rooms they providing,We also got 1 single bed in double bed ,which we looking for, so there is Good for family stay. 1star am deducting is for washroom. Bucket and mugs were the in bad condition need to be change. Food I usually had was Chinese Non veg Combo. It's good though.

Location is great ... just in mid of market place. Costly as compared to service. I stayed 5 days... overall experience so so ... I am adding some restorent pic where we use to have complimentary breakfast..

I wish I could rate it extremely poor. Got charged 2000 rs for a night but the room was very dirty. Had to call room service and got sheet cover changed. When asked for cleaner bedsheets, the service men said that they don't have any. The towels were very old and the drinking cup provided was very dirty. Extremely disappointed with this hotel.

Room service is not up to the mark. Asked 3 or more times to clean the room but in vain. Ordered food for dinner but food arrived after 2 hours. Location wise a good economic hotel in the heart of the city.. I wish they upgrade their room service.

Rooms are just ok type. After watching the outside of the hotel anyone can be fooled by thinking that the rooms will be of premium quality. In my room(101) AC was there but in "not working" condition. Only one switchboard in the double bedded room. The TV screen was tilted and switches of TV was pushed inside. And top of the all, just after entering the room you will be welcomed with the typical smell which can be found in any low cost hotel.

My family wasn't quite happy with the menu. Options were less, moreover food wasn't quite tasty. The AC under our room didn't function properly and although we informed the man only to have him reply that it's like that only. During bad weathers or rainy day, we have to bathe in cold water since the hot water generator operates under the solar so what's the use to taking a hot water bath during the hot summers then.

First of all they did not provide us with the money receipt during check-out, and later on called my father asking for more money. They misplaced our bill with someone else's which is out and out their fault. Unprofessionalism at its best. The room service however, was prompt and good for a budget hotel.
