OYO Hotel Rupashi Bangla - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

Good stay. If you are looking for a cloudless trip with your love one this hotel is for you. Problem is its location. It is in quite remote area. you have to spend a lot of money for transportation. Apart from that some of furniture like cabard, Windows blinder are not in very good state. Co oparetive stuff. Clean n hygienic rooms as well as bathroom. One more thing this hotel don't have attached / privet balcony.

No generator to run AC when there is power cut. Power outage is very frequent in that area. Vehicle is not always available. But the attendants are very friendly and cooperative. Very close to Sea Beach. Location is quite, ideal for soul rest. Edit: Visiting after about 1 year. Revisiting there because of location. But staffs are not punctual. Water flows into the room from bathroom. Food quality is good but always expect delays in serving. At least one hour. Travel to Swargadwar area is inconvenient. You will find better accommodation around in this location. ____ Visiting again after few months for some official job. Room conditions and services has improved much. They try to clean the room every day. Also the lady receptionist is much more helpful. Food ordering is good.

Disclaimer- If you are planning a stay here. Staff behaviour is ruthless. They will ask you to give good ratings to the hotel while checking out, if you don't do so staffs will abuse you literally and force you to give 5 star rating. None of the caretakers or reception guys are there at night to look after. The bedsheets had blood stains and bed bugs, toilet latch was missing and power cuts at night. The girl named "Sweety" at the reception is not sweet enough. There is one more guy at the reception who tried false charging for damaging hotel property after i gave 1* rating. There is a third person to initiate the fight in case all the measures fail. It rightly says at the gate "Dogs around , Enter at your own risk".

Hi, I have booked few rooms in your hotel from 2nd of Feburary-2019, I am traveling with my family with kids and elderly people to pay our tribute to Lord Jagannath, I see the reviews from people and that does not seem to be good at all. Very negative reviews indeed. Anyway, I do not want any kind of bad behavior or harassment or any such thing that makes my stay unpleasant. So please educate your stuffs accordingly. I have paid money in advance and would look for a pleasant experience there. Hope my expectations meet. Giving you a 3 start review in advance. Shall give 5 star based upon experience.

Not as much satisfied. The charging ports are not workable. Wifi speed is too low. Annoying sounds comes from air conditioners. Only good thing is its bathroom geyser. All the toilets are also not working properly. And most it is too long distance from golden beach.

Overall experience was good ....but there are some issues 1. Room was not properly cleaned ....I found many hair in my bed and all over the room 2.food was not that good 3.wifi not working 4.parking place is too small..only 2wheeler can be parked 5.and water supply stoped for a while at 5.20am .....and after 5_8 Mon it's restored 6.there are blood stain in the bedsheed ... probably for mosquitos 7.Too far form main beach ....(2.6km) There are many pros too 1.stuff behaviour was good enough 2.stuffs are helpful too 3.food was not highly expensive....example chicken kosa-160 chicken pakora_140 mutton kosa220 plan rice-45 Dal fry-60 plan Dal 30 3.there are free room service for food 4.nearer too sea....u can see sea from 3floor and second floor

Had pathetic experience staying in rupasi Bangla hotel in puri. As told by many guests the receptionist along with her manager are very Rude... Lots of extra charges and what Oyo shows is just mere ice burg. Toilets r pathetically dirty with dirty bed sheets ... U can't ask or argue with the receptionist because she is a LADY... She was the most annoying person in my entire stay... Too far from main centre... No near by restaurants or shopping centre available... Restaurant serves worst food and in the name of RO water they are providing bathroom water... Don't spoil Ur holiday by staying there .. they don't know to behave with guests.... Oyo should remove it's tag... Don't deserve even one star....

Location of Hotel: Its far far away from Sargadwar (prime location of the town). It costs 100/- auto fare to reach Sargadwar and road condition is poor. Rooms: Rooms were unattended and kept unclean before check-in. Bed sheets, pillow cover and bathroom were untidy. They were not replaces/cleaned even requesting for numerous time. Only one room in the whole hotel has a balcony that opens up to a garbage dumping yard. The Service: I could have given it a negative rating if MMT could have allowed me. Room service never turns up even after numerous requests. Two guys who claimed to be the manager of the hotel, Subhankar and Anirban were the biggest liers. It was my mistake to trust their sweet words and smiles. The following instances occured during my 3night stay: 1) The hotel claims to have a free pick-up facility. That's a lie. Initially the manager gave me postive vibe, but when I reached Puri, he picked up after several calls and asked me to come down to the hotel after hiring an auto as no pick-up was available. 2) After reaching the hotel, I found no security/ gate keeper(Time: 5:45AM) and the gate was locked. Again I had to call the manager several times to make them open the gate. 3) The room in which we stayed was a mess. Bathroom was unclean. Bed sheet and pillow covers were dirty. No towels/ and soap were provided. 4) The hotel failed to provide mosquito repellent even after several requests; not even for a single night of my stay. 5) I had an awful experience in the last day of my stay. That morning the manager came up with his polite behavior requesting us to vacate our room as there was some problem with the drainage system. He claimed that all the customers will be shifted to a different location. I agreed with him. But while shifting I found that I was being shifted to some residential building 2kms away from the main road and beach side to some loanly location. The road was a broken and muddy road and was totally insecure at night. Finally I disagreed to the manager's request and was shifted to another location(Veer Villa) near to the inital location. We found that this hotel was unused and there were no one staying there. But the manager lied that there were customers staying in it. We confirmed from the security guard that this hotel didn't have any customers. I felt insure and went back to the hotel manager and found some other family was given our room and Rupasi bangla was over booked. The only option I had was to stay in Veer villa alone that night with my family. Moreover the manager showed his real color with his misbehavior. It was my first time experience to see a hotel manager abusing and lying in front of his customer. Not only that, when they failed to convince me they sent some goon to me to "convince" me.
