OYO Hotel Nova - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Hotel is in very crowded market, rooms were small and less spacious, this is a very old property. But the behaviour of hotel staff was very polite and good. We have took AC rooms but AC's were very old and you can not operate with remote just ON/Off via power button.

No hot water provided to bath during night at rooms. Restaurant is worst in entire Guwahati valley. They don't have the dished mentioned in menu during afternoon, they only provide lunch instead they don't even make coffee to their guests during the period.

What we need in a Hotel? Safety, Hygiene, comfort and something to make us feel at home. Hotel Nova gave usan amazing experience. Polite and Humble hotel staffs with one of the best service. Clean beds and washroom. Safety as well.

Worst experience anyone can feel while visiting this restaurant. Non-professional behaviour, service bad, food quality and quantity both are worst. Love eating food but hate going their.

We booked this hotel for 1 night stay as we had to board flight the next day. I would say, this was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Here is why: 1. The intercom phone to the reception was not working as the wire was broken and they did not bother to fix it. So, the only way to talk to reception was to go downstairs and speak. 2. They did not provide wifi password on request, stated that its not working post covid. Seriously? 3. No arrangement of drinking water in the room. Neither RO water nor mineral water. 4. TV's remote was not working so couldn't surf what other channels it had other than the only Bangla news channel. 5. We ordered fresh lime and it was filled with nothing but sugary squash. 6. Needless to say the room's condition itself was third class be it their washroom, the cutlery, the washroom mirror, the toilet seat, etc.

On 15th September I stayed here with my family and we founded the whole staff members very polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city at main market Fancy Bazar. Rooms are very comfortable and food quality is also very hygienic with delicious tests. But one thing we felt so want to suggest the hotel management that still the cleanliness is insufficient so try to put the hotel more clean. With best wishes

Worst hotel I have ever seen. Location is okay so you can directly go to fency market. Food is very bad and services is pathetic. They says they provide complementary breakfast but when you ordered the breakfast they only have options of bread and butter. We stayed 2 nights there; one day, they couldn't arrange the bread jam and we had to wait for 1 hour. You can't look outside the windows because the outside location is horrible. We went there through Traveloearth and I request them not to select this hotel for anyone from now on.

Staff not cooperative. They look for opportunities for charging extra bills and don't return back excess billing error in the name of gst billing and management instructions. Geysers not working mostly and same with ac. Food very much overcharged . Bedsheets are very untidy.
