I have traveled a lot of places, stayed in a lot of hotels. But I would strongly suggest to avoid this particular hotel. Not because of the location, or the rooms or any of that but because of the experience. Let me explain. Firstly the manager here came across as very rude. The first day he suddenly knocked the door and told us to take care of the keys otherwise he would charge a penalty of 1500 rupees. Next we were having a family conversation about how the hotel was and they listened from outside and were asking questions about them.You can guess how the privacy is like. Thirdly they handed us a list mentioning all the items and amenities provided in the room and check whether they were there in the room and also submit it to the manager after signing it. Probably because if anything were misplaced or lost they could charge a penalty. Next every time we were outside and came back to the hotel, we found that they had turned off the power from outside. They say they have discipline in their hotel and and they save electricity. One day, while my uncle was bathing in the bathroom, the hotel staff yelled and turned off the bathroom lights from outside saying we were wasting power. He thought there was no one in the bathroom but he knew we were in the room. In the end when we were leaving the hotel, the staff came in and showed us a red mark under our pillow cover which we completely ignored and which was by no means fresh. The mark was completely spread and looked like the pillow cover was washed too. But the manager asked for a penalty of 200 rupees and he was so desperate that he settled for a penalty of 100. Overall the experience of the stay was not satisfactory at all. I would strongly suggest anyone to avoid this hotel. The rooms are good for the price, clean but the experience is not at all good.

Location was quiet remote. Room was not properly cleaned. Lots of hair in the floor. Broken water container in the bathroom. We reported it on the second day but they charged us for the broken container and alleged that we have broken it. Please check the room properly and report any problem to the owner immediately. The caretaker is a liar. Hotel lock was broken it was very hard to lock the door. Auto fare is Rs.150/200 for main market and toto was asking Rs. 80.

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. The hotel is quite far from Sargadwar and the main market. Air conditioners in the sea facing rooms does not work properly.We had to wait for 2 hours outside the hotel as our rooms were not ready. We were a group of 18 with 5 small children. The children were not even allowed to use the toilet. In room services like bathe towels and soaps were not provided. Wifi service is available only to guests in the ground floor. But that too is disgusting. You need to hire an auto to reach the market area which would cost you around Rs 100.

I along with my family visited from 16-02-2020 to 19-02-2020 and the location found satisfactory. Hotel is clean. Tea, snacks shops are available nearby, also 3 restaurants are situated within walking distance. Traveler also available nearest to Hotel Mangal Chandi. The Manager is very familiar & simple person. The distance of beach & hotel is hardly 3 minutes. So I am satisfied.

3rd class hotel so please avoid booking here. 1) Very far from main market 2) Rude behaviour of the staffs 3) This old house keeping staff use slang languages 4) No sitting arrangement in reception for waiting 5) No food and market in nearby location 6) They demanded extra money unnecessarily 7) Generator not working 8) Broken furniture 9) Bad condition of rooms 10) Water problem in bathroom.

Rooms are neat but location is very far from main beach and beach market around 2 km. And we stayed for 2 days and every morning at 5 am they cut the line and ac is controlled by them. If go and say to give current then only they give landline is not working, tv is not working....

During check-in manager was not present at the reception, rather a staff was there who gave us check-in without any entry. After checking inn, we left for sea beach, while returning the manager was present and started shouting on us that where were we till now and why did we, since we didn't did register entry... Now I DNT find where was my fault. If he was not present during check in then whose fault shall I consider it?.... Anyways after that everything was good. Then at morning I created a fresh booking to continue for my friend from my account. Bt hotel refused to give check-in since I created booking by name. As a result I seek help from gommt to modify the name bt no response came due to which I was bound to leave for cuttack. Neither I stayed at hotel nor I received my payment back.
