this hotel was .... Rooms are too hot, and they charge more for anything. Dunno where they brought the extra charges from, lol, dumb.
The hotel is situated in the busy market area of Guwahati. The reception is really helpful. Its a 1 hr drive from the airport and 20min drive from the Kamakhya Temple.Rooms are good. Service and cleanliness is perfect. Food quality is average. It is around 200 meter inside from main road. They don't have facility to accept international cards as payment. Other thing are good.
Too much bad customer care
Great hotel with respectful staff and clean rooms would have given 5 stars but the complementary breakfast was just tosted bread with a bit of butter and jam on the side and a boiled egg didn't asked for more cus i was full but still compared to rest of the hotel's I've checked in Guwahati this one was great for the price I'd visit again for sure.
The room I booked had a TV which was not in the working condition so, I complained and asked to repair the TV but, they didn't repair it. I repeatedly asked them to repair the TV but, no results. The staff is not at all cooperative. In the morning when I asked a lady at the reception she told me, the whole management is corrupted. The room was neat and clean. Rest everything was fine.
No proper maintenance...old towels still in use...door locks don't work smoothly... very old television sets... remote control doesn't work properly..no responsible person to listen to the grievances...the boys in the dining hall have no basic training of serving basic cutlery... discounts in room rent not offered uniformly.... only the location of the hotel convenient...
Staffs are not good. I organize a birthday party at kalpa but all the staffs eat before our gast. Food became short. Without our permission how could they eat ?
They won't provide any service during night. Don't expect water at night. Only my morning 10 AM you can get drinking water. Lift doesn't work most of the time and same with the geyser.
