OYO Hotel Embassy - Hotel in Bodh Gaya - Gaya, India

It is an okay hotel. Rooms and washrooms are clean with fresh sheets and towels. It is an OYO property. The biggest positive of this place is that it is right at the police checkpoint, beyond which cars are not allowed till the Mahabodhi Temple. There is enough car parking space around this hotel. It is at walking distance from the main Mahabodhi Temple and Museum, and just across the street from the Thai, Bhutan and Japanese temples.

One of the worst hotel I've ever visited. The staffs don't have any idea about guest service, bed sheets are dirty and the head rest on bed has molds. The windows in the room dosen't close properly so it is prone to theft. They would boast of internet wifi, but there is no connection inside room.

Worst hotel. Booked online using Agoda (Rs 413)and after reaching hotel, manager denied room. He ask for extra 400. As already 8pm we paid him. He told me online platforms told him to manage like this only. Rooms are very dirty and No geyser. Linen was dirty and have stains, even after looking that he keep on saying that it was cleaned. No support from online platforms. There were too many hotels. Better take a look locally instead of booking online.

Total waste of money.... Cost too high. The bed mattress is just useless made up of foam and very dirty .. 2-3 mattress is combined in 1 which gives uneven surface. No blankets... No hot water facility... Room full of mosquitoes... I recommend not to take this hotel..

Not as expectedWe like the location. Bodhi temple was near by.Linens were not clean. We asked to change the linen but they were saying "its fresh" we were already exhausted cause of 12/13 hrs of travels and didnt want to argue. Price was not the real as shown in the website. They charges us extra. At the begining we paid full amount for 4 nights but we want to check out after 3 nights and asked for 1 nights price return. But they were saying we need to modify from the webside and change 4 to 3 nights or they would deduct 30% and they did it. Overall, it was not as expected.

It is better to avoid this hotel though the location is quite good. The non AC rooms are very dirty, small and I'll maintained. The ac rooms are quite spacious but ill maintained and dirty too!

Very bad quality of hotel and staff. Don't think to visit there if you're not getting anything anywhere then only you can go. There hygiene is very bad, Bad quality of service They'll charge more that what you app is showing. You'll definitely regret so I'll suggest if you want to spend good time do not choose this hotel.
