OYO Hotel Camac Plaza Near Birla Mandir - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

The hotel was booked by me through the Oyo App. At first sight, it seemed the wrong choice. The location is terrible, by the side of a flyover making access an issue. Once inside, the staff at reception is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious enough. It is clean as is the washroom and linen. The AC works as does the TV. Complimentary breakfast is passable, there is a restaurant that has limited options. Not much options close by, one may need to depend on food delivery apps. Service needs improvement. Laundry service was advertised but on ordering I was told that Sunday is off for laundry. When there was a substantial delay in room service, reception apologized and said that on Sundays many of the staff took leave without informing. Looked strange reasoning for a player in the hospitality industry. Good place for short stays of a day or two.

Below average rooms and bathroom, ceilings painting and room walls of extremely low grade keeps falling , the only thing better was the staffs behaviour , costly breakfast and oyo complimentary breakfast means that they give breakfast for the next day but not on the same day you arrive! Disappointed!

Rude, Angry and Irate Management, support staff is completely opposite and are always smiling, ready to help. I wasn't allowed to boil water in kitchen, nor was I provided boiled water because the kitchen services were closed No late check-out option, they directly ask you to pay 30% of the room rate Rooms are dingy and shady, smell of mold and cigarette, upon asking for a room freshener I was told that the smell will not go away and i will have to live with it Bathrooms are small and dirty, pillows and mattresses are very thin and you don't get an option to change those Windows are broken, you can't lock them, so is the iron grill placed on top of the windows. If someone would want to break in to the hotel or room, that's the easiest option All in all a very bad experience, wouldn't recommend going to this hotel

Hotel is good but location is not good. Not good atmosphere. Hygiene is not ok there. Not clean areas. You will not love the area. Better to chose another location. Remember it is not in PARKSTRRET, it is in park circus. Parkstreet is awesome but parkcircus area is clumsy dirty, full of mosque. If u like clean nice location choose any other location on parkstreet. Hotel is of little old fashioned. Stuffs are good.

Very nice hotel having access to all parts of the city. Polite and friendly staff. Room sizes are too enough as it includes living room. Room service and house keeping is too good. Everyday new toiletries, towels are provided. Thanks to oyo for the best deal at a complimentary price. Very good reception. Dining facility available. Food on call is also available. Nearby restaurants are worth a visit. Quest mall is around 500m from here. You have connectivity from all the sides around hotel. Mini refrigerator, hot water, AC laundry facilities, etc add more beauty to your stay..

The rooms are although a bit small with facility of a/c, free Wi-Fi, tv, clean toilet & mannered staff. Eatries standards needs a lot improvement. The check-in/ check-out timing should be for 24 hrs, not at 12.00 noon.

Booked through the Oyo app. Well-located budget hotel within walking distance of Park Street and public transportation. Room conditions were as expected, considering the rate paid. I was very pleased with the staff--all were courteous and friendly. When I asked where I could buy a universal adapter for my laptop (I'm from the United States), the staff saved me the hassle of going out by finding a converter and letting me use it for the duration of my staff. In five years of visiting India and three or four using Oyo, this property probably has some of the most hospitable staff I've come across.

Decent budget hotel. Rooms are clean and having option of twin bed and single bed both. Breakfast menu need an improvement. Located near Park circus crossing beside Maa Bridge. Nearest food joint is Arselan. Staffs are cordial
