OYO Home 10839 Cozy Stay Sam Villa Kanlog - Hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

Service is very poor, I have never seen any hotel, home stay or any B&B where they don't let their guests out of the roome after 10 PM is it a jail? What are we paying for? The worst part is they even ask you to pay in advance and in return you are bound to be Locked after 10 PM. Staff is unprofessional and seems illiterate with no sense of hospitality they talk to you as if they are in a post of a bureaucrate and you as a guest pleading for their mercy. Their are plenty of better properties in shimla with better services at same rate.

It's stand at before hotel nice view. Same things place was very nature friendly You you want peace you can choose this place otherwise all facilities are far from you if you stay there. Mainly taxi union always bully ola and uber so you must have to take only taxi union service which is 2x or 3x normal fare.

The hotel is breathtaking. Each room has excellent mountain View esp the top floor ones. Rooms are squeaky clean, bathroom has all amenities. Hospitality of hosts are amazing. .

In one word its a very nice place to stay. It will make you feel like ,you own a good place between the valleys of shimla. The rooms are very neat and clean and they have ultimate view from one side. Since the place is at the edge of valley you will get the perfect view. The oyo captain was cooperative and i had a very good experience. Since it's a homestay so you need to do everything by yourself. Go with your family ,you will get 3 cozy rooms with neat bathrooms, running hot water. What else you need in winters :-) P.S. you should have stamina to walk and climb stairs, for better experience do not bring your luggage. I'm saying because to reach this place you need to walk down the stairs due to distressed location ;-)

Rooms were not clean, bedspreads were dirty with lots of hairs, kitchen area was bad, food plates were not good, full of stains, when informed to room boy, no comments, just vanished. On the day check out, room boy came, took my mobile opened this app, rated 5* saying they work for 24 hours, and they are 2 in number, low paid, their malik will scold and remove their job if they get low rating Location is on very narrow road, vehicles difficult to move, and very risky, better we walk from main road to this hotel Geyser is not very effective, you get mid hot water of 15 liters Room heaters charged extra for INR 300, and it is of very poor quality, 1kw capacity Few Rooms too small in size, cannot keep your luggage also, just packed, open the door just jump in

It was safe and a pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and cooperative. The place name is Kanlog and you can hire a taxi to reach there from new isbt. They have Induction stove and other basic cooking utensils.

It's an okay place if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. The location is however a little outside of the city. So, it's better to book a cab or like. There are no hotels and restaurants nearby but the hotel staff can provide some basic food options on demand.

It is a beautiful stay with good staff. The staff was helpful and the rooms were good. There is no cleaning service though and you have to walk down to the stay as most taxis or cabs will leave you at the main road.
