OYO Highland Manor - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

This hotel is not even worthy of giving 1 star. I had already booked online, yet they charged me extra. And online I saw a mention of free breakfast but they charged extra for that too and on top of that they provided breakfast of cheap quality.And there were a lot of mosquitoes too in the room, I would not recommend anyone to stay there overnight. Please visit some other hotel other than this one.

This place had a lot of issues. 1) The checking in was erratic. 2) The receptionist demanded that I not pay through the Oyo app, but pay in their personal account. And got irritated when I declined to pay in their personal account. 3) They also tried to increase the room price. 4) I was given a different room than what was mentioned in the booking detail. It was a tiny dingy room. 5) The staff will never help you with the luggage. 6) No food was served even though they mentioned it will be. Several enquiries were made, but no, I had to order very late at night because of that. 7) You will only get a very late served and a very bad cup of tea after several requests. 8) The sheets were very very dirty. 9) Cleaning lady comes only when you check out of the hotel 10) The toilet seat was broken. 11) The two staff present have zero knowledge about hospitality. The worst kind. There was no interaction with the owner, so I don't know how he is. However, Mr Highland Manor you really need to look into the management of your hotel, especially the staff present. No doubt the outside of your hotel is great, and is in a perfect fresh location, but my experience staying at the hotel was really really bad. I finally had to shift to another hotel for the remainder of my stay in Guwahati.

I stayed 3days and 2 nights. Pros:- 1-Good place, 2-the stuff was civil. 3-food was also good. 4- reasonably priced rooms. 5-during my stay i didn't notice the "usual" OyO customers (and i was there during Valentine week) So i can say its suitable for the family. 6-quite and spacious area. Cons:- 1-only 8 rooms (if you want to host more then 8 families there is no room). 2-the batroom/toilet room floor level is higher then the bedroom so id you jam the drain(which can be jammed by hairs) the water flows to the main room.(i was on room no 103) 3-on the 1st morning of my staying the water supply run out because the water truck was late. Overall a good place

Actually OYO are making worst joke with us. This even doesn't deserve 1 star . Upon call they talk nicely And after reaching there they told u that even they had no any talk with u previously They totally denied to give any room to u Guys if u really need rooms to stay Then oyo must be your last option .infact u must never believe on oyo if u are in emergency. This was my 1st and last oyo visit

A very professional team of staff, from the waiters to the chefs, the receptionists to the cleaners, clean and beautiful rooms, ample available car parking, drivers dorm, have all made it a special guest house experience in Guwahati. Great atmosphere, and always served with a smile and conversation. Top class hospitality from the moment we arrived. Thank you all for making our trip to the capital of Assam that little bit more special.

I would have given zero or minus review if it exists. Please never visit this place they ask you for very high price extra and may not allow you to stay even if you booked. Staffs are very rude and looks like thief.

1. Very good customer service 2. Good quality and tasty food 3. The stay was cosy and satisfactory 4. Staffs were welcoming and polite 5. Amenities were available, not sure if its available in all the room. 6. Limited number of rooms 7. Only the ground floor 8. It is not a big building but a beautiful bunglow/cottage I approve it!
