OYO Flagship 30484 Sand Beach Vadanemmeli - Hotel in Vadanemmeli - Chengalpattu, India

Everything was going smooth. Good place. Good pool. Neat restrooms. Good staff. But, the next morning, the pool water had lots of water insects and we tried asking them to clean it as we had paid for the pool also. But, they never cleaned it and we couldn't use the pool in the morning. It was literally unusable and they said they couldn't do anything about it. All they had to do was clean the pool for 15-20 minutes and they didn't manage to do it. A good experience in that place in the beginning ended up being rough at the end.

Do not book it. The images shown are from the days when it was newly built. The swimming pool is not their so it is just a faulty advertisement. They won't offer any help or support. They won't provide food as well. The rooms are disgusting, it has cockroaches and insects and dirty walls and furniture. Highly suggest you stay away from this property. It very badly managed and maintenance is nil. They will never connect you to their manager or another staff and would be just ignoring you or sitting staring somewhere. Also, this place in a location where you won't find food easily unless you have your own personal vehicle. However, if you did decide to stay here, the beach is 40 metres away at the back side of this property.

we friends from Chennai stayed in this beach house stayed here last Friday. Rs.12000/ was charged for single day stay. The amount charged is 5 star rate but after reaching the place we were terribly disappointed. The quality of house was not up to the mark in the sense it is not commensurate with the amount charged for the stay. The bed and sheets covering the bed are old and smelling. Conditions in the swimming pool was poor. One of our friends had a deep cut in his feet because of the broken tiles in the floor of the pool. so swimmers need to be careful. We also ordered for dinner and breakfast and for non veg snacks. The quality of the food served was very pathetic. Breakfast was ok. The owners of the beach house should either reduce the Tariff rate or drastically improve the quality. pl visit the place and then decide to stay in this place.

An apt place for Friends and Couples but "definitely" not for family. I was fairly impressed with the reviews here and booked my stay for me and my family for 2 nights and later realised that this was a great mistake and moved out the next day even without an refund. Majority of the weekend books are done by groups and gangs to intoxicate themselves and the surrounding and partly by couples to enjoy their one night stand. People with Asthma and other breathing problems beware that the rooms smell of Nicotin and Tar suffocating you to death. The road to the premises is broken and a challenge when using smaller cars and the parking is outside the premises. Beach is close by with a couple of meter shoreline but a very shady place + outlet from all the beach house properties drain there. Thankfully the maintenance and house keeping staff were friendly and the folks at the reception were courteous. I kept my ratings low simply because it doesn't fit the requirements of a family preferring to stay there.

You can enjoy if you stay with your friends. The swimming pool is well maintained and beach is in walkable distance. The rooms was not completely cleaned and garden place was small. Swimming pool - 4/5 Room - 3/5 Overall - 3.5

I would suggest people not to waste their money in this resort. They do not have any facilities. It was mentioned in Oyo app that they provide lunch n dinner. But when we reached their we were said we do not have kitchen and they are so irresponsible that they don't even arrange for food, the rooms are so untidy the AC does not work properly. The manager is not available. It is the worst experience one could have.

New property , yet some renovations r being done.close to the beach .good rooms ,but they dont have a kitchen ..so no food in night ,we have to travel and buy and get something... Otherwise its good ...the staffs r gentle .but the electricity was out very often....not satisfied with it

Though a small place good to stay.... neat and clean... Beach is very near 3mins only. They don't have a restaurant attached... But they help you getting food from outside...
