OYO Flagship 11435 Aria Grand Esplanade - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

Well if had a choice this hotel will get minus 5. I did read reviews before but dismissed it saying it cant be bad. I was wrong. First of all the signs boards and the photos are more colourful than it really appears. Be prepared for a 4 floor trek as the lift does not work. I dont think this lift has ever worked. The reception is on the 4th floor by then, you are half dead. I would never come here again. This place is beyond repair

Worst place to stay. Lift did not work. You have to climb upto fourth floor with your luggage. My room did not have key. I was told that previous guest had taken it with him. So you had to leave your belongings in the room unsecured. TV switch was broken. Therefore TV was also not working.

Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The building and entrance is although a non-descriptive one. I had to take the lift twice ad I did not see the reception at the fourth floor. Have to take it back again. Fooding seems not available as the boy told me the kitchen is up for renovation. For a budget hotel in OYO non to complain about.

Worst hotel.deserves negative marking.following are the points: 1)all rooms are on 4th and 5th floor. lift is always switched off or out of order.you have to climb up the stair with your luggage upto 4th or 5th floor.no one will help you.even you can't call the reception as their phon no is always out of service. 2)geyser is out of order almost in every room.no hot water available for bathing. 3)water flow from bathroom tap is very slow.shower is non functional. 4)bed is very uncomfortable and sounds a lot even when you are changing your posture. 5) window ac sounds a lot. 6)staffs attitude towards guest is very unprofessional and rude. 7)food is very costly unnecessarily.eg.:4pcs rotis 60 rs +service tax,2pc boiled eggs 55 rs+service tax. 8) unhygienic floor and toilet.lack of cleanliness. Every one should avoid this property.

OYO Flagship 11435 Aria Grand Esplanade is the worst hotel I have ever seen. Although midnight check in was available. Only that reason I gave one star, otherwise it deserve 0 (zero) star as per price. The Room was little bit dirty, floor was dirty, Bedding, Pillow, Bed Cover, Towel, all things was dirty. Bathroom quality was disgusting. It was rainy day, and rain came from outside from bathroom window. I have booked dinner with extra cost approx Rs.200 but they denied to give dinner at night. Because my check in was 12:20 AM (night), I don't think 12:20 AM night is too much late in Mega City like Kolkata. Overall my experience with this hotel is very bad. Next day I booked different hotel for two more days. Don't waste your money in this hotel.

Zero star. Very poor. Smoke smell in non-smoking rooms. Stained sheets. Dirty toilets. When asked to change the sheets, the manager said it's stained from laundry and the sheets are clean and refused to change stained sheets. The sheets had oil stains, some leftover food droppings and marks. Not to mention poor customer service of OYO. They refused to refund the money. We didn't even check into the hotel after seeing the rooms. Would not recommend OYO to anyone ever.

Hotel is located in good place.Nice staff but room service is not upto the mark. We had asked for a good night to provide us in room at the checking time. Till midnight heard that there was no more good night available for the room. The guests who had checked in later got the good night and we were not provided. Food is good and tasty in restaurant.

Set inside a very old building, this property isn't well looked after. No. of staffs are very less and room service is zero. Every time u need something or need the room to be cleaned you have to ring them up. Also the complementary breakfast is provided only after a phone call.The keys of one of our rooms were missing and we were informed about this only after the full advance was paid. And the place is dirty omg(except inside the rooms obviously,though every rooms has issue with doors). Believe me you don't wanna get into such situation as we did. Best of luck!!
