OYO Fantasy Stay Near City Centre Salt Lake - Hotel in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

Worst experience I ever had! 1st I booked a hotel through OYO app. Then I called to hotel representative for confirmation my booking. And I also asked them that the booking amount which is showing in my oyo app that only I need to pay. They said, yes! You can come and check-in. We will not charge you any extra amount. Guess what? I have traveled almost 10km at 11pm and when I reached the hotel to check-in. The game is changed, now they asking me to cancel or book the room offline.! Disgusting!

Complete fraud of these oyo and it's customer care. I booked hotel in advance and got the confirmed message. Then on the day when I arrived, hotel representative said booking is not confirmed, so I called to the customer service. Customer care representative said it's not confirmed due to technical problems. I don't know what's technical problem as the payment done and got the message. They did not reverted the payment which I did and also not confirmed the booking.

I have no words for the kind of hassle I had to face there. I had bboked and paid through the app. First they took pictures of the adhaar card and then informing us its against OYO rules to have digital copy of the adhaar card. Then the receptionist asked us to connect to the OYO helpline, if they inform them its okay to have the room then they don't have a problem. When we connected to one of the booking manager, he confirmed we can stay and talked to the receptionist, he said he can't accept his words. Then he suggested us to connect to area manager and started telling us how ita not an OYO owned property, so OYO doesn't have any ownership that's why there is different rules than other OYO stays.We sat there 2 hours connecting to Helplines with no resolution. We didn't even get any refund.I never had such bad experience with online hotel bookings. In front of us one more family didn't even get the chance to enter the reception as they had 3 members (couple and 1 child). If that was the case that, OYO should put up banners and mention which hoteld would welcome family which would welcome only couples.

Incident of fraud done by Oyo hotel staff of "Oyo fantasy stay saltlake" against my booking . I had booked the hotel on 30th sept 2023 for 3 guests for 1 night and made the payment in advance.Just within 10 mins I received a call from hotel asking my mobile number followed by "OTP" but I refused to share OTP and told them that first I'll visit the property then I will share the OTP and then they said ok and disconnected the call.I had reached the hotel with my family after 2 hours of booking,the staff of the hotel asked me to show me the booking details in my Oyo mobile application and copied the OTP of which I was unaware at that time, then they asked me to show identity card of all 3 guest,We showed original adhar card of 2 guest and printed adhar and employer identity card of myself which the hotel staff refused to accept but a lady standing behind him took a snap of our identity cards, after taking snaps hotel staff had made a call from my Oyo application said that AGM of Oyo is on call you can confirm that your check in is not possible with these identity card,I was unaware of what was happening and requested to check in for atleast 2 members who had valid identity card but they refused.Then I asked the hotel staff that whether my booking could be cancelled at this stage,the hotel staff replied yes you will be fully refunded within 7 days as you have not checked in.After getting refund assurance we moved to another hotel and stayed there.While having dinner when I checked my Oyo application there was no refund initiated.Then I contacted Oyo customer care but unfortunately he was also favouring to the hotel staff. Now being a victim of fraud I am feeling helpless as hotel staff stole OTP without my knowledge and showed me checked-in to Oyo. Also I would like to inform you that the actual condition of hotel is just opposite the photo uploaded on the Oyo app, hotel was too dirty , hotel staff was smoking and hotel main gate was being locked by staff everytime someone entered or exit the hotel so there is a chance of any racket undergoing in this hotel.

Just recently got humiliated by the hotel staffs..Totally fraud.. don't fall in their trap.. they refuse all online booking even if u paid earlier saying no room available. They will cancel the booking with most stupid reason and when oyo call thems they will not even pick up the call. And u can't even refund the money so it's better not to book.. u will only suffer from the starting

Almost every hotels they show in Kolkata are scammers.. please be aware.. Oyo show a rate.. hotels never give rooms on that rate.. they charge extra .. sometimes they make you cancel your booking and suggest to take room in a higher rate from them directly..

I booked this hotel via oyo at 826 rupees when i wnent to hotel they told there is no booking and when i talked to oyo 5 times they allow me to check in and given me a non ac room at the booking of ac room then i decided to cancel the booking and cancel that booking then they denied to return money and then told me pay 200 more and stay in ac room very bad room very bad service not recommended never book this hotel

I was there tonight and not only the service of OYO but the property manager has their own rule. And they don't even accept their own fact rather they started with OYO accepted the documents then the property manager said that the customer should enter by 10pm otherwise no entry and it doesn't matter if you book the OYO at 11pm.
