OYO Ashirwad Heritage - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Well it doesnt look as good as shown in the pic...and there is no free breakfast...there is a common kitchen for all to use....bt its quite a good place to stay...i would definitely love to come back if i visit guwahati again

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE THIS HOTEL DOES NOT EXIST AND KUMARAKOM RESORT IS THE NEW HOTEL. WE BOOKED THE PLACE THRU AGODA AND WHEN WE WENT TO THE HOTEL THE NEW MANAGEMENT TOLD THAT THE AASHIRWAD DOESN'T EXIST. CALLED AGODA 10 TIMES AND OYO SOME HUNDRED TIMES TO CHECK FOR HOTEL ADDRESS BUT THEY COULDNT HELP. OUR ENTIRE TRIP WAS RUINED. THEY ASKED US TO PAY THE MONEY IN ADVANCE SO BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD POSTING

One of the best hosts in the city. Mr. Clinton will make sure you have a pleasant and no troubled experience while in Guwahati. He'll make sure that the guest gets something to eat and doesn't starve even if it forces him to stay up till one in the morning! He treated me as a brother and opened up a bit as well sharing his travelling stories, which seemed really cool :D His hospitality forced us to come back to this place for a second time while we were in that part of the country and perhaps even in future. Moreover, the food is really good and just like what I got back home and most importantly, very economical! Thank you Mr Owner for such a great experience and caretaker!

Very beautiful Homestay run by very humble gentleman Mr. Basab. Had a great stay. Staff do not understand English & Hindi but eager to serve you in best possible way. Cooks amazing food for you as per your choice. The only issue is privacy. We felt Homestay should be strictly for guests and not for non guests especially at the common areas and sit out. Common areas must be available to guest at any time of the day. All in all had a great stay. Would love to stay again

The hotel owner was a cheater. We have booked family room in advance after paying full money on MakeMyTrip. On arrival we came to know that he had given that room to another family, might be he got more money from them or he took our booking casually like he would be doing with other customers. So when we arrived, he asked to go to his another property which has very poor location, and where room are not at all booked Ashirwad Homestays. Its worth was nothing, could be booked at half the price. We refused his suggestion so he tried to accommodate us in another small but normal room at the booked facility, Ashirwad Heritage. That room doesn't have enough space. There was damp all over the wall & bad odour in the room. So again we refused to move. And all this were happening around 9 pm at night. So obviously we were very angry but also wanted a resolution ASAP. So again he took us to one of his OYO 17384 Eastern Grove property which is just OK. It has spacious room but still washroom lock is broken, toilet seat is broken. He provided extra materess for third person. Property location was amidst residential area. Its actually 3BHK flats that were converted to homestays. In order to resolve the issue we agreed to this location otherwise we would be looking for roof at night after taking the money back. Meanwhile we raised this issue with MMT support. Thye given us the option of moving to any other property of our liking instead himself giving nice property suggestion as they are bigging giant in bussiness should have more access and know about guwahati then tourist. We agreed on that our money will be refunded. But what was missing in conversation was blacklisting of Ashirwad Property from MMT website. It was really a pathetic experience with MMT for the first time.

It's a nice place. This is actually a home away home. This is not a regular hotel kind of property and not situated in market area. It's a property in residential area. Lash green garden. Huge drawing room with bedrooms. Toilets are clean and fitted with modern amenities. In house workout place is also available. Big balcony is most attraction of this property. The Staff behavior is very good and are very efficient to take care of your needs. The guest who is looking for a quite stay can definitely book here.

I was been for 6-days with the family. Everything was good. But in that period for 1-time also room was not cleaned even after informed. For my baby's safety we cleaned it by ourselves. Compared to the price not satisfactory.

They asked Rs. 1800/- for family room with one double bed and one single bed. It was too much compared to the cleanliness of the room. Then I claimed them online booking which was showing Rs. 773/-. It was a reasonable price for the room. They agreed... Before booking a room it's always better to just check it once physically..
