OYO Aravali Tent Resort - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

It's definitely good place to stay, If you are bored from closed hotels. You will have nice morning weather. Service is good if you order something from inside. But things are quiet costly if order internally. There is good market very near so bring water and snacks from there. Breakfast and Food quality is good. Do check your bill at the same time if you order anything, we had bad experience for it. Our bills were inflated when we were checking out, we had to argue and had to recalculate entire food bill.

My experience at the hotel was worst. They made us pay 1500 for a cheap blanket that never existed. Their own staff do all this and they make customer to pay, very cheap tactic to extract money from us. Staff was very rude. They keep accusing us for that bloody blanket until we agreed to pay 1500. We have to pay because we were getting late for our train. Very unprofessional. Zero star if possible. Never stay at this hotel. Rooms were unhygienic. There were insects in our room.

Mostly good for family trip.Although couples are allowed, they are not given preference in terms of room allotment and room service. Rooms are not well maintained and cleaned. A big con is that there is no intercom and one has to call from cell phone to reception to get room service and it can take up to an hour for even a bottle of water to delivered to room. A bit overpriced as one can get much better for the same rate The surrounding is nice though. It feels away from rush for the city and pollution free amidst garden and trees.

One of the finest resorts keeping the theme in mind, excellent service, comfortable stay and tasty food. They'll also provide a personal bonfire and live puppet show on demand. The main market is also just 10 minutes walking distant. Overall it's good for both friends and family.

The only experience in Udaipur city which was disappointing. The only advantage of this property is it's location,it's located at the heart of the city behind city palace.Other than the location nothing hit the mark.Non supportive staff added a great deal to a disappointment. The furnishings in our tent we're not clean also the common washroom just beside the restaurant was unclean and unhygienic.Not at all value for money.Would not recommended.

I wish I could have given five stars but in negative. 1.Very rude behavior by staff. 2.Very unhygienic. 3.Pathetic room services. 4.We have to take bath with cold water in cold days. 5.No clarifying on charges and asking for extra money while checking out. 6.Room cleaning was done after numerous calls. 7.To put Extra bed was well informed in advance then also we have to remind them and have to call at 2am. This list will go and on...... Only good thing I can say I experienceed that at least they had served somewhat good food. I do not recommend this place for at least family/couple.

The facilities and the hygiene conditions are satisfactory. Food is extraordinary. The best part is the lush green environment. Feels like a hill station in the morning. Worth visiting just for exploring this natural beauty.

Pleasant & Spacious. We were 4 families who travelled to Udaipur by Car. The resort was easily located and the reception guided us properly and sent a person to the spot when we couldn't find the entrance to the property. The staff were helpful and at times took too much time to attend any call or a request. The tents looked a bit daisy from the outside but were neat inside and the bathroom was also very clean and had a hot water running whenever needed as there was geyser installed. They had a generator as well in case there was a power failure. I had one complaint regarding the tent, the bedsheets were not changed even when we gave the room for cleaning. I would expect them to change it by default every time they clean the room. This is one aspect which I didn't like. They have arranged a camp fire for us on all the 4 nights we stayed and it was free of charge. Upon order they took longer than expected time to get our food, this part can be improved by faster service. Another good part is you can park your car inside the compound and is safe unlike many other hotels where you have to park it on the road. The location of this resort is one of the biggest assets as it is very close to City Palace and Lake Pichola.
