OYO 9736 Hotel Downtown Suites - Hotel in Amritsar - Amritsar, India

It's ok and value for money. It's a bit difficult to find as it is in the small lane. The rooms are big and had basic facilities AC, nice mattresses, sofa, table, television. Rooms could have been cleaner though. Bathrooms were not so clean as well. It has a small restaurant. They provide good food and made it as per our requirements. Staff was really good in the restaurant and the hotel.

Rooms are very huge and beautiful but it needs to be upgraded. Staff is good. There is buffet for breakfast. Rooms are clean and smells good. Washroom are also huge with geyser and bath tub. Full fill the expectations of photos. Locality is also very good suited at Mall Road of Amritsar which is very near to bus stand and railway station.

Perfectly named as Downtown Suites. It has only suite rooms. Very big & spacious room, feels comfortable like home. Well behaved staff . Good food quality. If booked through OYO, complimentary Buffet breakfast is available. Neat & clean environment with parking space. Best place to stay in Amritsar at an affordable price.

Good hotel.staff are very friendly.i wanted to celebrate my husbands bday there and they made all arrangements possible. Rooms are pretty nice with a seperate sitting area outside and then the bedroom(suite). Overall a good hotel for the price charged.

1. The biggest flaw in the hotel is that it accepts only cash, there is no option for card payment. Paytm option is available, but not sure if people will have huge sums of money in their wallets. 2. Rooms can be maintained in a better manner. More emphasis should be given on cleaning and regular bedsheet change. 3. Staff is courteous and helpful. 4. Breakfast buffet is nice, different options are provided daily.

Awesome location and very courteous staff. The hotel is located at the most posh area of Jaipur. Value for money. Breakfast has good varieties and the service is too good. Surely had a very nice time and would definitely recommend to all. any inquiry follow me instagram. itsgurisidhu

The experience was just okayish. Could have been much better. The light went off at around 12 in the night, and for around 10-15 minutes, the AC and even the fan was off, making it hot. Thouught of complaining at the reception, to find that the phone was also not working. The AC in the room doesn't even have a remote, so we have to get up from the bed at night while sleeping to switch it on or off. The towels were not even changed on the second day of our 2 day visit. When we asked to change the towels, the hotel staff gave us only one new towel saying that you already have 2. The two we already had were of the old day. Clearly, it wasn't an experience which you expect out of Treebo. Our last experience with Treebo in Chandigarh was 5 times better than this. But this didn't go well.

The hotel staff kept ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night (at 11:30 pm) to get the dinner bill signed. I was asleep, and the staff didn't go away until I had to wake up and tell them this can be taken care of in the morning. I'm in Amritsar on work, and as a single woman, this hotel does not respect women's safety or privacy when it allows its staff to be intrusive as such. Moreover, on complaining to the reception, the staff members were found lying to each other, telling them I had called them to the room (I hadn't). Not recommended. You can't be inhospitable and be in the hospitality industry, very unprofessional.
