OYO 968 Hotel Poigai - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

I would have definitely given Five Stars to the hotel. It's only because it doesn't have an in-house restaurant providing lunch and dinner, I've given 4 stars. It does have a restaurant which provides breakfast and snacks. The staff is very cooperative. Location is absolutely great. Rooms are quite good in the price range one has to pay. The hotel staff's behavior and helpfulness is worth mentionable and they extend in cooperating whenever required. One can easily bring in food by the online food deliverers (Zomato) as I did. The stay was good.

Reasonable prices, clean rooms, complimentary breakfast & polite staff. AC rooms with complimentary wifi. Hot water available 24X7. Unmarried couples not allowed though. If you're looking for pocket-friendly accommodation then it's a really good option. Just 1.2 kms from Skywalk mall. Overall I would say it's not waste of money.

The staff were really friendly. The room was small but good for two person stay the linens were not changed it was all soggy I guess they just remade the bed after the last check out with the old linen. Breakfast was good service really quick. Parking is a constraint

Staff was mostly helpful but they took Rs300 extra for 3rd person and refused to provide us extra bed. They made us leave our previous room which was small to bigger one which could barely accommodate 3 that room didn't had hot water but we took it as they were ready to provide us extra bed but later at night they gave us only bed sheet. Everything else was really fine.

For the price point, their services were top notch. Good hospitality, clean rooms and a proactive Anna as staff, they to ticked all the boxes. The food was not that great, but you have abundant options from Zomato, swiggy, etc at a phone tap. Good experience overall.

Accommodation here is decent. Host is friendly but you won't get cold water here. Rooms are small with very little free space. Wi-fi is just for the name sake, speed is actually very slow. Also, the serve beef in the menu and the quantity of breakfast is average with only south Indian menu and that to limited. The ordered food is too costly and average in taste.

Terrible hotel. Avoid at all costs. The rooms are very cramped for price range and very poor cleanliness and hygiene. Room didn't have a doorknob for bathroom, faucets were broken, water seepage on walls, and AC remote was missing. When speaking with the hotel owner he was really arrogant saying this is how hotel business is and we always provide our rooms like this. Please don't bring your family to this 0 star hotel. Good thing is Ac and TV in working condition. Not enough space for bath, less waterflow on shower, no bucket, two small bed grouped together as queen bed, only one plug point for charging that is also not working properly.
