OYO 9614 Hotel The Sun Shine - Hotel in Jaisalmer, Kishan Ghat - Jaisalmer, India

I had a solo bike trip to Jaisalmer from Hyderabad. I stayed in Hotel The Sun Shine on 29th and 30th dec 2022. i) The hotel is situated in a very good location and the market is of walkable distance. ii) The behaviour of the staffs including the hotel owner himself is very good. iii) Even though it was a peak season for tourists, still I got the rooms with a very reasonable price. iv) Ample space for Vehicle parking. I can definitely recommend this hotel for those traveling to Jaisalmer with family.

OYO 9614 Hotel The Sun Shine - Jaisalmer We were there from 16th to 18th October, 2019. First thing you will find at the reception that we are not welcome. Then if they find out that you booked that hotel via OYO then they will ignore you and try to make you suffer. The receptionist is not at all eligible to work. He is cold and mean. At least three times, he told us that we booked at very low cost. They gave us a below average room though the entire hotel was empty. They switched off AC line after every two hours and gave as many excuses they had. They did not even gave toiletries at the first place. My humble request to all people to avoid this hotel if you can. At the same time my request to OYO to please organize your business and sort out these issues as at the end, we the end user are suffering.

Wonderful experience. Mr. Meghraj was quite welcoming. They made special dinner for us and the food was delicious. Rooftop restaurant has amazing views. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. They also offer safari packages that include private taxi, camel safari, jeep safari and some cultural program at sam sand dunes. The room was spacious, nice and clean and had all basic facilities.

I don't recommend anyone to book this property. Rooms are below average. Owner of the property doesn't care about customer's. NEVER TRY TO BOOK THIS USING OYO. After having a confirmed booking, guy at reception told they don't have any rooms since we paid online and he wanted us to pay in cash. There is no place quite like The Sun Shine Jaisalmer, it is exquisite. My sister and I visited for a week in April and there wasn't one thing we could fault. From the friendly staff to the pamper treatments we felt looked after and welcomed our entire stay. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is amazing and the location is spot on. Everyone should visit the amazing city of Jaisalmer and if you do, The Sun Shine is the place to stay.

NEVER TRY TO BOOK THIS USING OYO. The guy at reception was very disrespectful and arrogant. Although we had confirmed booking done via oyo paid in advance, receptionist denied that he doesn't have any rooms since we paid in advance online, and he wanted us to pay in cash. No room heater, not kettles for hot water if you are staying in winters(u can get hot water from receiption). Dirty and torn bedsheets. No toiletries (one piece of soap per room). Very Bad experience for someone who is paying to have a nice vacation in this beautiful city.

We had very good experience with sunshine hotel. We booked this hotel through OYO rooms. We reached 3 hours before check in time but they arranged one room for us to get ready. Even at the time of check out they kept our luggage in clock room. The manager offered us tea. Room was enough large and clean. Manager and staff were freindly. Thank you

The staff is very rude & the receptionist was behaving very rudely. We booked through Oyo, made all the payments, booking was confirmed. But when we reached at the hotel they were ready to give any rooms, he said he won't give any room even if it is available because we have booked it through Oyo. The receptionist was so senseless,he was thinking that he'll get less money from Oyo because we have booked it for less amount via Oyo offer. Very very bad experience. Even some people have already reported this hotel but still Oyo is showing it on the app .
