OYO 8954 Hotel Joy - Hotel in Chandigarh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar - S.a.s Nagar, India

Stayed for one night. Very bad experience. Room was next to reception area so whole night there was disturbance. Curtains were not proper on window, have to staple them to sleep. Bed sheets were not cleaned, washroom pot was unclean. No water no towel. Towel they gave later but charged for water. Floor was not clean. I checked in late night and was for only few hours so just spent that time some how. Only silver line was they negotiated the price from what they quoted but was not worth even that. Pls avoid.

Room was clean and hygienic. The service was really good and hotel staff is very polite. I do recommend hotel joy for a nice and comfortable stay

Excellent place to stay. Great staff, amazing reception people. Recommended for couples and families. Food tastes amazing but there's no option for half plate.

Just to let you know our review about Joy residency - it's a shame to associate with them for OYO. Please do not recommend this hotel for any wedding or other family get-together. 1. Bathrooms were not clean 2. Few bathroom door locks were not working 3. All bathroom floors were always wet, we had to wipe them with towels each time to stand the to use the mirror. 4. House keeping staff missing thru the day 5. On Sunday we wanted to clean the floor of 208, since it was messed up as that was the main wedding room - ofcourse the staff refused to sweep it and then we asked for a broomstick - he happily gave it to us no sorry nothing and we cleaned it completely. 6. We found dust on some furniture 7. Water motor broke on the day of the wedding at 07.00 am and all guest were waiting to shower to be ready for the timed ceremony which of course didn't happen and we were late and lost our auspicious time. In spite of knowing how important time is on such occasions, the motorman only arrived at 10.30 and the manager was so cool about it, kept giving us endless nonsense reason for the unavailable water. 8. Lastly I lost my expensive sandals, which was found by one of their staff but they never returned it to us - again endless lies from the owner itself and for three days he kept on telling me that he is checking the CCTV and eventually said CCTV was in that particular area again a lie lie and a lie ! I would not recommend this property to anyone. Its just not at all family friendly hotel. Some of the support staff was very kind and helpful but even they didnt have a great experience working there.

Well I am Hemwant Adhikari and I had stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights. Well my room number was 203. Room service was awesome and the best this is their Food Quality. Especially Dal Makhni must try once you visit the hotel. Room quality was also good as compared to other hotels in Mohali area. Pocket friendly with great amenities.

I must say it's among very good tie-ups of deteriorating services of OYO. Washroom was clean with warm water and ample space to bath. Rooms where we stayed was premium and hve ample space for 3 as we have kid of 5 years. Food quality was very good with hygenic plates and cup. We have ordered for maggie/pakoras and tea which was delicious. Near to mohali sector 56 which was my priority on booking this hotel. They have an atm nearby with shops

Excellent Stay, We have stayed as a group with 10 rooms, from 13th Dec to 18th Dec. All staffs are very cooperative, food was very tasty. Children's enjoyed a lot in the stay. Family's also very comfortable. In my next visit also I will plan the same hotel

Hotel is located suitably to roam around in Chandigarh. Rooms are cleaner and comfortable. Hotel is equipped with the basic amenities like AC rooms, free wifi, breakfast, lunch & dinner arrangement. Hotel is at comparably silent zone. Good for short stays. Overall nice experience!!
