OYO 870 Hotel The Rajshahi Palace - Hotel in Indore - Indore, India

Hi guys, Visited this place after long weight I have been thinking of going to this place from a long time, this place is situated in rajshahi palace and near South tukoganj Indore. The places small with limited number of sitting, all the tables that are available are of family size and no small tables are available, the place gets crowded really quickly and you might end up seeing waiting we will lucky when we went there the place was totally empty and in one hour the place was completely full. Not talking about the food in starters we tried their kebab platter and tandori aloo. Tandoori Allu was ok kabab plater was really good, this was buy for the best platter I ever had in a long time and it had so much variety that it was really good in taste and quantity wise good for at least a small group Main course be tried handi veg and dal tadka with tandoori roti and naan, everything that was really good, I really like to the dal sabji was ok can be improved it had too much mushroom in it. Overall if you are pure vegetarian and if you are looking for some authentic old town restaurants which is there for a long time and is serving really good food then you should definitely try out a lot of places at south and this is one of the them, price to quantity ratio is also good the rates are quite reasonable and the places pocket friendly even if your visiting a very big group, it won't burn a hole in your pocket Overall recommended

Staff is horrible! Rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, you name it! + the rooms are not well maintained at all! Handles fall off when you open drawers, shower, door. There are yellow stains in the cupboards. And the overall hygiene of the place is just not good. Wouldn't recommend even if it was less than 800 a day

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. Rooms are average and lack cleanliness. Our room had no door latch and when we asked them to change the room they said that none of the room has a latch. This puts a big question mark on the safety. Bathroom needs renovation, we get better bathrooms at public toilets these days. Statt doesn't respond, it took us three days to get the bathroom cleaned up. I had an early morning checkout and no one was at the reception to provide the final bill and i had to walk out without a bill. We extended our stay for two days and they charged us more than double of what we paid for the rooms. One of the staff told us a cheaper rate but later on denied that they offered a cheaper rate. There was no latch on the door which made us feel a little insecure.

Best value from money stay. Staff is very professional with their job profile. They have in house restaurant which is pocket friendly without compromising on taste buds. Do try their gulab jamuns.

Great food, very supportive staff, great services and rates are very valid for what they deliver.

What a place for an event, or stay or for get together. It's perfect place to suggest many of my friends. Really happy to find such places during my travel. It's wow experience

I was here on independence day weekend with family, good price and very good staff.. person at reception was friendly and arranged cab also. Washrooms were clean and room was spacious. Location is very good and easily accessible. Good deal in budget hotel. What I personally liked is there was school reunion and a anniversary celebration planned. It wasn't a disturbance to us at all and infact it was helpful to know Indore little better... Asked for Iron, dental kit, got it instantly. Book this place without a doubt, you will not regret...
